The thing is, cheap renewable energy doesn't fit the governments' and centers of (financial) power interests, that's why they invest in continuation of worldwide violence and warfare.
If barges use 1/35 of the fuel, shouldn't it be cheaper than the trucks? Did we see a large increase in barge use during the triple digit days of oil? Is that why the BDI was so high during the mid 0's?
