What great footage! My first time in Barmouth was 1976 I was 8 and we camped at shell island. The scenery is breathtaking and I still come back as often as I can although I now live in Eastbourne :-)
Bowie still sounds great! nice one. Barmouth however gets invaded by midlanders and scousers with bad attitudes that leave rubbish, broken glass, nappies etc etc in the town and on the beach. I don't know why they go really they don't like the scenery or the welsh, just chips, plastic buckets and cheap alcohol.
hi ya i moved to barmouth in 82 and still here your rite nothings changed much appart from the influx of Brummies i think they out number the locals, sad realy

I grew up in Barmouth in the 80's. Not much had changed. I left there in 1989 and have only been back once since. Thank you x
