  • This has to be one of my favorite songs by Heather Dale. It's got that Celtic feel with a bit of southern fried rock in it! Totally perfect!

  • @MelodyStark Southern fried rock, that made me laugh XD Totally agree, love this song!

  • I feel so sorry for the Cherokee. they were mistreated so badly.

  • Why is the picture a dog's head?

  • @xBleachfan2000x Because the album is titled "Gabriel Hounds". It's a little hard to see.

  • It's weird. I have a bit of cree in me and I'm taking First Nations Studies right now and I'll be taking a course in First Nations support. It's just weird I'd hear this song at such a significant time in my life.

  • I have Cherokee in me but it is only 1/8 and I am 1/8 Jewish the rest of my heritage is scot-Irish , polish, Italian, and a tad of German

  • Ok, I concede a little surprise and thanks for respect-first time I've heard a fast song concerning the two (four, because of 2 more Wounded Knees than people know about) most tragic United States of America events concerning Native Americans...

  • Did you the only reason the Trail of Tears happened was because Jackson ignored a descion by the Supreme Court. The desion, Cheroke Nation v. Georga and Worcaster v. Georga, said that the Cherokees were legally allowed to stay on their land.

But Jackson was an Indian fighter, and a major bigot. So the Cherokees were sent, and Jackson disobeyed a Supreme Court ruling only because they couldn't back it up.

He must have had lead poisoning from all those bullets.

  • A song about the Native Americans, right?

  • Look up The Trail of Tears in yahoo and you will get your answer.

  • @DistantDreamer93 the Cherokee

  • wow a rock heather dale song... <3 this...

  • @Daciana93 Yes, the Cherokee (I think) were exiled from their lands by the white men a long time ago. It was a bad bad time, and thousands of them died on the way.

  • @retrothefox the Choctaw actually. some tribes and members went before hand and got choice land for there reservation, but most of the Choctaw got forced out and died. my ancestors are from both sides, the Choctaw, and the soldiers.
