About preterism, I've also heard "this GENERATION will not pass away" can be interpreted as "this RACE (the antion of Israel) will not pass away" -though I wouldn't know enough Greek to either verify or reject this. Do you?
The word "generation" appears 17 times in the NT why do you not see footnotes stating that this word can be "race"?
Because their is a word for "race" and it is NOT used.
The generation that Jesus spoke to witnesses ALL THESE THINGS or Jesus lied. Jesus did not lie... history shows that ALL things HE spoke of did occure (see 70AD)

The bible does NOT mention a "2nd Coming". Read the NT and see how many comings of Jesus there are!
The bible does not mention a "Rapture" nor is there a typeology that shows God removing HIS people from trouble.
Why would Jesus specifically pray like this:
Joh 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them from the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil one.
