I remember them at that time as being one of the most popular bands. It was my first concert back when I was 13 years old, you were 7 or 8, at that time they were one of the biggest bands. Bon Jovi actually opened for them. So I wouldn´t say they were underrated.

Although some would tout Van Halen, Queen and The Beatles as the more superior bands, personally I think Ratt struck a superior middle ground between being heavy and melodic that few could rival (let alone surpass).
Ratt did pop better than Judas Priest.
Certainly some of today's bands (My Chemical Romance, Bullet For My Valentine, Paramore, Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu) really pale in comparison.
I agree. The only new band I like are Nothing Gained. I recommend them.
It's a shame that Ratt fell apart in '91. It would have been awesome to hear more albums with Crosby's edgy metallic rhythms and Croucier's catchy yet strong bass lines.
Not to take away the contributions of the other members but I really feel that Rob and Ju were as much as responsible for the raw meets pop dynamics as everyone else.
I wish they could have replaced them with the likes of Joe Satriani and Billy Sheehan.

Crosby has done a lot of solos.Just to name a few:Lack of communication,I'm Insane,She Wants Money,You think you're tough,Scene of the Crime,Closer to my heart,Never use Love,etc.
Robbin definitely plays the solo to 'Never Use Love' because you can see him play it in a live video on here. Likewise with 'You Think You're Tough'. It's easy to tell when Robbin's playing the solo to a song because he had a much simpler, fluid style, which I prefer to Warren's.

The music was decent back then, all the groups wrote their own songs & played their own instruments, not like all this rap crap, hip hop shit stuff that's around now, they fuckin' have other people write their shit & they haven't a clue how to play an instrument. Robbin definitely plays the solo to 'Never Use Love' because you can see him play it in a live video on here. Likewise with 'You Think You're Tough'. It's easy to tell when Robbin's playing the solo to a song because he had a much simpler, fluid style, which I prefer to Warren's.
