If you've found a pulltab, you will find gold if it's there, so you're doing it right. Dial up the iron disc to make it grumble for iron so you won't have to dig it anymore.
Keep digging. With metal detecting you have to have the patients to learn how to use the tool and what the machine is trying to tell you. At first you have to dig everything until you get an ear for the different tones. Each detector is a little different and the AT Gold will take a time to master.
Hang in there. I have an AT pro and it takes a little time to learn how to use it. Also, the iron audio function will help youdid less junk. I appreciate your honesty. It gets easier and more productive.
Great Honest video. I had a good laugh on the stick. learn the VDI numbers from the book. then you will be able to determine what is iron and what is a good target based on the numbers. I will sub to you so I won't miss any of your videos.
Keep diggin man. I found a silver dime this morning and I've only been detecting a couple of months. Nice job on the spoon. Eight inches might mean it's pretty old. I'm hopping to upgrade soon but don't know if I want to go with the Garret AT Gold or AT Pro.
@texan21b The At gold is not much more then the AT pro. I will be posting a video soon on what I found today. It will show the dangers of metal detecting and it wasn't a rattler. I hope to get it up by tonight. I have been finding lead and shells, iron, I found my first nickle today lol.
@TheJoebowhunter Yeah it was my very first time so of course I bombed. But I Didn't go cheap when it came to a metal detector. I spent $679.00 on the AT Gold.I found from youtube that many on there will not work for gold and that's why I got it.
Great seeing a brand new user, encouraging and a good honest attitude.
