My computer freezes a lot. It is because the computer has only one gigabyte of RAM, just enough memory to run Windows Vista. Windows Vista would run faster if the computer had two or more gigabytes of RAM. I would make sure the computer has at least double the amount of RAM necessary to run the operating system.
Kind of ironic that you have to use a computer to upload this. Shop bought computers are crap, they use the cheapest, crappiest components so it's no wonder they're unreliable! My uncle built a high-end computer for me, he knows what it should have in it, and it doesn't mess up even half as much as the shop bought ones do.
man, if windows and windows movie maker are making you tear your hair out, i would suggest changing operating systems. like if you were to get a Mac for example. i like to call them "computers for people who hate computers" :P

Yeah. I see the unreliableness of computers, and it seems computers are overly complicated, so complicated it isn't reliable. But the tape recorders and such, wow. They are reliable. If it breaks, its usually just a bad belt.
My wireless connection acts up but if its a wireless router youll need to upgrade its firmware you do this by going to the web site of the brand of router your using (im using a linksys router) look up the model number and version and download the firmware then you log into the router and upgrade it from there
