They explained something like this back when P1 was released. The game would become boring and tedious if you had a Strike Team sent after you every time you jumped into the air, leapt off a building, or sprinted (faster than the cars) down the street.

I'm more excited for this game then any other game this year. Well maybe Assassin's Creed 3 but besides the fact that it is being released this year not much else is known about it so it's hard to be excited at this point. I'm sure I will be super excited once a trailer hits.

He timed his strikes ,jumps, and dodges well in order to avoid damage, he used things in the environment(even the hunters own arm) to damage it from a distance, he used a heli's own weapon against it self and used a building in order to reach the height required to get on the heli and knock it out of his way. To put it simply these were all tactics.. Couldn't say the same for first one that was button mashing.

I may be wrong, but Prototype 1 and Prototype 2 is like Assassin's Creed 1 and AC 2. They have so much in common: From AC 1 to AC 2, the main characters were changed and people complained about this changing in the beginning. In AC 1, gameplay was kinda repetitive, and it got bad reviews because of it, when in AC 2, missions was more diversified; main missions and side missions, just like P2: Diversified (and consequently better) side missions, main story, new protagonist and better graphics.

He doesn't use them both at the same time. Choosing both powers let's you switch between them instantly. Like, you can start off attacking with claws, then switch to Hammerfist mid-combo without needing to use the Power Wheel.

It's just insane combat, destructive powers and bloody violence, and that's why I'm gonna buy it.
