How about all of the 'green' and 'organic' products out there right now that are flying off the shelves at double the price of 'regular' items? As soon as something is advertised as being "green", people's demand for it automatically rises, because it lets them feel like they're helping the environment without actually doing anything. Humans have always overestimated our impact on this planet - why stop now?
