Never trust someone stating that Protools is the best system ever... That usually means they don't know shit about anything really.
Still the powercore is an amazing piece of gear. Planning on getting a Powercore 8 before the end of the year. I would have gone for a Powercore 6000, but it's a good bit more expensive. TC is really great gear at reasonnable pricing for what you get.
I dont know what you guys are talking about...there's a clear difference there....and i'm sure you would hear it alot more if it wasnt youtube quality.
Yeah, either the vocals were already processed or he totally goofed my not muting/bypassing the effects the first time around...(sigh). This could have been a good video.
Wasn't compressed before, obviously my voice on the vid was recompressed / amped up but the sound file was completely dry without any previous fx, trust me!
he should have processed a sound clip from dirty potter tube, its very Brittish...

Hi! Are the powercore compact working with RTAS? Aren't the plug-ins working only in vst format?
Because I would like to set up a pro tools based studio, and I would like to use the TC plug-ins! :)

by offering an a/b comparison it is recommended to put as much c in it as possible.
that means talk more and often inbetween the different parts - so everybody remembers quite well - your voice...
