25 degrees... that's dedication for sure. Your bike is awesome. I have a 2004 Fatboy with Carlini 14" Fly'in Apes. I'm really thinking about selling it one day and getting a new "Lo." Did you get the ABS option? You're going to love the apes I'll bet you are really looking forward to springtime rolling around. I live in Southern California, so snow is never an issue. i actuallly smoked out my len's, the blinkers are easy to change front and back it's the tail light that has to be re-wired, no the reflectors come off easy and dosent affect the paint at all as long as your carefull, heat the reflectors with a blow dryer and the adhesive will get soft and pull them off by hand,and yes the license plate uses the same stock bolt holes

dude your bike looks awesome with the 12 inch apes, great job! i want the detachable sissy bar for sure, just havent got around to it!,.... the only thing your missing on that bike is a new license plate holder, the stock one to me in my own opinon looks like a bilboard sign, thats why i changed mine, i got the curved down license plate holder from the company kuryakyn it looks so much better, and i would recomend taking the reflectors off the bike, i yanked mine off right away : )

@hedgehumper thanks a lot man!! yea i was going to do the license plate, does that use the same mounting brackets?, also was thinking about the led headlight and tailight and maybe smoke the len's out, but that may be later this summer, also did it hurt the paint when you pulled the reflectors off?

Finally got my bike done, it looks killer with apes on it, i got the black apes but only did 12" cause i was worried about not being legal, they are really strict where i live so i went safe, still looks badass, and i got vance and hines big radius and stage 1 filter, as well as a detachable sissy bar and fender bib for when i ride solo, i must say this is the best bike i have ever owned, don't really think i will change much else pretty much done, are you thinking about any other mods?

Looks awesome with the apes. I getting 16" -1 1/4 " diameter apes installed this month for my ride..

i love the ape hangers, makes the bike look way better and its a much more comfortable ride, the seating position with the 14 inch apes are perfect for me, im 5 ft 8 , total height of the bars are 16 1/2 inch even though there 14 inch bars, the risers are 1 inch high, and the seat on the fatboy lo is 1 1/2 inches lower so it = up to 16 1/2 inch, the bars are flanders or burley, im not sure which one ill find out .
