What is striking about events surrounding the film is what the Chief Minister Manohar Joshi commented on the film stating: "The film's theme is alien to our culture." I totally understand where he's coming from, but homosexuality is human nature, and it transcends cultures and nations.
It's just sad that certain important issues are being repressed.
