Im sorry but I simply can not see the appeal to RTS games. I mean you spawn things and then watch them go attack other things and you have no control over what happens. you just tell something when to spawn and then watch the fight sequence. What is the point?

The same could be said for first person shooter games or RPGs. You have a character, you have a gun, you aim and shoot. You beat an area, you get a new gun, you aim an shoot at a new enemy. That or you have a level 1 character, you fight in a battle, you have a level two character, you go into town, you buy an item, you head to the next town and get to level three on the way.

Starcraft is an E-sport; multiple leagues that pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to pros.
