    The triangle and the 'Russian'/pivoting armbar are both very high percentage movements. The success will depend upon your amount of experience with each movement. Pick one and work it for a while and then later add the other.

    I have been doing this type of armbar for about 11 years and it is VERY secure. The shin across the neck keeps his head separated from his arm, making the arm much weaker. The pivot towards the legs makes it virtually impossible to pull the arm out.

  • I see this being pretty difficult in the part where you roll over to your chest, b/c I see a big opportunity for them to pop out and pass to either side control, or if they stay tight, your back. I'll still give it a shot nonetheless.

  • thanks for posting the video. i really like this because you use your hips to make his arm vulnerable. trying to pull a big opponents sleeve for an armbar is really tiring and hard.
