  • I do not consider my self flexible any more, this is amazing!!! And everyone says I'm flexible!

  • its not amazing. its gross. im a dancer and i think that some dancers flexibility is nasty and this is 10000x worse. EW.

  • @jackileedance Dancers are weaklings who couldn't make it in the world of gymnastics so they decided to try something milder. Dancing is just an easy form of gymnastics. Its not ew, it's talent.

  • @PrimaGymnast47 woah. i didn't mean to offend anyone. i was just saying that i think rhythmic gymnasts are too flexible. and if u think dancers are weaklings you clearly haven't met a true dancer. paulina macias is a girl in gr 6. she is amazing! search up any of her solos and you will see a true dancer.

  • @jackileedance I saw Paulina. She is amazing, but nothing compared to a rythmic gymnast.

Gymnasts are both dancers and tumblers.

  • @PrimaGymnast47 OMG IM SO SORRY!!!

i just went onto my youtube account for the first time in like a year and i guess someone hacked me...

I think rhythmic gymnasts are beautiful athletes!

  • @jackileedance It's okay.... :)

  • omg its like they have no bones in there body!

  • omg.. so flexible it looks unhealthy! i can barely touch my toes for a minute without "feelin' the burn" that's insane talent =O

  • @Megsmusicl0vr its not talent its incerdible hard work!! :

  • i used 2 do some of that stuff with ma barbies, it's amazing!!!!!

  • Hard to imagine this is humanly possible except for the evidence. Amazingly awesome!!

  • freakshow

  • All those videos about RG make me want to start gymnastic!!!

    But l'am 17, l think i'm too old (((( sad =(

  • @pointeskatecybunny

it is not late to start rg for you as long as you dont give up on hard times if you start good luck!!!

  • thank you:)x

  • Yes.

  • they're SO graceful!!!

i wish that everyone in the world could be like that...i wish i could be like that. it already hurts my back to watch this video! im a gymnast and gymnasts are not nearly as flexible as rhythmic gymnasts...maybe some but it would be wonderful to be a rhythmic gymnast and a gymnast! :D

  • If we talk about ages in rhythmic gymnastics obviously the greatest one is Almudena Cid of Spain, 4 times olympic finalist, nor the russians, ukranians or bulgarians has managed to do it, watch her ribbon in the qualifications in beijing... Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 =D

  • I've been fascinated by rhythmic gymnastics ever since I first saw them at the Olympics when I was a little girl. I think I have even more respect for the older girls that can still maintain that tremendous flexibility even after puberty. The children seem a bit gawky at times as they're still growing into their bodies - very fast and manic compared to an adult's grace and control. But I love the sport regardless!

  • I love this sport is beautiful and full of elegance!!!! i think is the most beautiful sport ever...!!!

  • can u tell me that song name i love it but i just dont remember the name

  • wow that girl is soooo skiney 0:17

  • Lol. I Wonder who started that "trend" to hit your tool on the ground for the finnish. ^^

  • that sport with the ball and the rope and hula hoop. thats soo cool!! i wish i could do that. can someone give me information about being a beginner in gymnastics???? please???? anyone????

  • Listen to your instructor! do not and I say do not force stretch go your limit. or else you will ruin your body.

  • au Génial, fantastice ..un grande Collage..

    trés bien .

    Richaparis

  • hello .... I loved your video of gymnastics and would like to know the name of the song please, if you can send me I'll be very grateful ... thanks ... congratulations!

hahaha but this is pretty tighttttt

  • wow that was really cool ..... they should show this on tv i would watch it !!

  • It is in the olympics :) You have to check the listings, though, to catch it...

  • you guys are all just jealous of our sport. it takes so much effort, and pain, and you need to have true passion for it, none of you would ever understand it, unless you were one of us.

  • dang i can do gymnastics and flexible but thts just gross now effence cuz i tottally understand tha flexability

im not saying its bad im just saying im not even tht flexible and im lvl 8 almost lvl 9 gymnastics btw im 11 years old

  • it's art!!!

  • i guess its physical art...and music is vocal art and drawing is mental art :D I love all arts !!!

  • "Homo sapiens" is by far the most flexible of all the great apes. But, heck . . . These ladies are in a league of their own!

  • no son muy delgadas????....perdon la ignorancia

  • lol my name is kira!!!

    i love this sport!!!

  • on 0.47 its the russian contortionist Irina Kazakova

  • oh my god!!

it's really cool but also really really creapy...

i don't understand that it isn't bad for your body. i think it is because the body isn't designed to do those things.

I don't know, i don't do RG but it just seems not right to do those things with your body... but it must be awsome if you can do it :) :) :)

  • ta je anorexia !!! no fujha !! tamta byla strasne vyhubla..jen kosti ji trceli !!!!!!!!

  • I do rhythmic and yes . Its hard. But if you practise much it becames easier.. (sorry my english I'm portuguese)

  • hard

    very hard

  • amazing

  • its well easy cause im a gymnast too

  • what song is this by maroon 5 i like this song its cool

  • "Secret" by Maroon 5 from the CD, SONGS ABOUT JANE

  • WO that is the most beautiful sport i have ever seen (tear) LOL

  • 0:05 to 0:08 is just fucked up

  • i agree

    that is frkin scary

  • who's the girl at 4:20?

  • colino colino colino... why?? Is she your favourite gymnast?

  • Rhythmic gymnasts tend to be taller than artistic gymnasts. But are there rhythmic gymnasts who are 6 feet? Or can You be 6 feet to be a rhythmic gymnast?

  • girls tend to start rhythmic gymnastics or move from artistic to rhythmic when they are quite tall. kapronova for example i think is around 5'10. a 5'10 gymnasti would not work well on the bars for example in artistic gymnastics.

i know this from experience! i am 5'10 and artisitc is extremely difficult for a tall person so i stopped and moved to rhythmic!

  • i'm 5'6 and growing, and i'm an artistic gymnast, i'm literally taller than almost everyone at my gym.. i wanted to go rhythmic but there's no clubs near me for 50 miles :|

  • errrr.......ouch

but sum fukin fantasic throws nd catches in ther!!!

  • Brilliant work!!!

  • does rhythmics have any long term effects on you body? I doubt it could hurt you legs, as far as the hyperextended splits go, but i'm just wondering if any of the girls experience back pain due to the back bending involved.

  • I almost started rythmic gymnastics when I was 8 or 9...but there was nowhere to train up here in Alaska. I decided to stick to ballet whitch happens to now be my passion. RG is sooo amazing though if I did get into it at a young age I believe I would really enjoy it!

  • yes well when you go to the big comptetitions like kabaeva and tchachina it's going to be quite emberassing how all of those big gymnasts have such flexibility, and you might not... I'm not trying to insult you, I'm just stating pure facts.

  • sorry to all pf you who eally like this sport (I myself think it's absolutly beautiful!), but this cannot be healthy! I mean seriously, it can't be good for your body to be able to curl up like a little ball! And although it's maainly pretty, sometimes it looks really scary!

  • Who is girl with amazing pivots?and who is girl in yellow fro da beginning?

  • i admire anyone with a talent, and these girls are talented, but i think its sick they are so thin, and it disturbs me that people train this hard to be this thin!!!! i know some very talented people, maybe not quite as flexible, but nowhere near as thin!!! these girls are cutting there life very short, and they gunna be in mega pain in their 20's!!!!

  • They don't train to be thin, it's just that after they train every day for 4+ hours and sooner or later your bound to lose weight. i know i started rhythmics a while ago and am competing, an after training every day for a week i lost a lot of weight and am pretty skinny. and also us rhythmic gymnast work on our strength twice as much as our flexibility so we are stronger than the average person and would have less back pain in the future. were not cutting our life short, but extending it longer

  • Sorry didnt mean to say train to be thin, but end up so thin.i dont dispute the loss of weight after so much training, but cant see how youre extending your life.Ballet dancers train just as hard, are flexible/strong,and 8/10 have bad hips, backs etc.i dont see how RG is any different?im not having a go.you are 11 right?you might not have thought about it coz youre young, but if you want children in the future your body will struggle to carry a child.i wish you all the luck in the world, and health.

  • i think its kind of gross how flexible they r...i am a regular gymnast but we r deffinently not that flexible!...how could they have bones and do that??

  • ask the same to contortionists lol

  • ask the same to contortionists lol

  • I love when they walk their legs around their head, its called the spider and its so cool looking. Actually, all of this is so cool looking. And I could have been one of them, but then I quit because I have a twisted vertebrae in my lower back, so I can't put my legs all the way over my head even if I really worked at it.

  • how do they have bones.

  • they are just awsome. I admire them very much

  • they are just awsome. I admire them very much

  • awesome

  • can you be 6 feet and be a rhtyhmic gymnast?

  • OMG 20 has the ribs pointy and eeehhhhh!

  • Rhythmic Gym rocks even though it is very painful.

  • actually there is such thing as men's rhythmic gymnastics. I know, hard to believe!!!

  • that is amazing!!!

I've never seen rhythmic like that before! :P

    I want to learn!!!!!!

    teach me

  • Wow! That looks insanly awsome and gross

  • I can do anything that invloves bendy, my friends think I'm a rubber band at school, I have been doing gymnastics now for 13 years.

  • kirsteee u were soo good with this one... i most defenatly luved the first 50 seconds of this

  • gezz go eat something for once

  • C' est vrai que c' est un sport super,j'adore faire de la gym

Mais ce qui me dérange c' est de voir des petites de 6 ans aussi souple, parce que pour la plupart elles st forçées et font des heures d' entrainement et ça ce n' est pas normal

    bsx

  • whats that song? i love it!

  • Secret.

    -Hooby-

  • wow.

    they have god given gifts.

    but kinda creepy looking..

  • wow. I wish I could bend that far. I mean. I do gymnastics. But I'll never be that bendy. That is amazing.

  • dusgusting , but it's just anormal

  • omg how gross but kool lolz i had to stop watching it its so weird lolz well wat eva its so kool luv AsHlEy h

  • a seet!! the chinese have more advantage! sorry but is disgusting

  • From a former Kalev Estienne gymnast--BRAVO!

  • normall people start at about 5 years old. but i started at 12(still 12 right now) and i am better than some of those who hav done gym for 5 years.... never too late peoplez..

  • If you want to do it for exercise it may never to late, but if you want to be a champion you almost always have to start at an early age. Which is also true of regular Gymnastic, Figure Skating, tennis and some other sports.

  • um ...for the person below rhythmic gymnastics is WAY more amazing than synchronised swimming. It has dificulties, deductions, elements, body movements, special requirements, music bonusses and deductions,5 aparatus and freehand, throws, liotards and look what these girlsz are doing with their bodies. so tell me how is it not more amazing you only think swimming is probably because you do it.

  • This is soo nasty but an amazing sport

  • This is amazing

  • omg das ist horror für mich

  • Sophrina96 you are NEVER too old at 11 to do RG i am 11 and am on the junior olympic team.

  • really..oh!!thyx for giving me hope..hehe

  • im sophronia but i use another account ^_^

  • i hate over splits

  • i don't know, it is a beautiful sport, that is true; but it looks like that girl who is training has anorexia, i think. but it is absolutely amazing !

  • I've joined when i was 6

  • do you think 11 yrs old can still do RG EVEN I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO THE RIGHT AND BOTH SPLIT EVEN I CAN DO TYHE LEFT SPLIT?

  • its never too late to start RG.i started at 11 too (i'm still 11) but before going competitive i'm training my self. i stretch everyday for about 2hours, 1hour strength+ warm up, 1 hour stretching. i'm close to my scorpion and am improving my backcatches(catching ur laeg from behind). i can only do my left splits but am close on my right and middle. if you love RG and want to do it, then i say GO FOR IT! nothings impossible, just remember to be carefull there are risks when training by yourself.

  • you know i am very flexible but 24 twice your age

  • for the record, 11x2 is not 24... its 22 :)

  • all of it is gorgeous. what a pretty art i wish i was still doing it. sadly i am to old :(

  • i love gymnastics and i am quite flexible but i wish i was that flexible.hmmmm

  • also ich glaub mal irgendwann geht das voll auf den knochen aber ich finde diese sportart einfach cool

  • in english please

  • he said that he thinks that it goes on the bones at some point but he finds this sport just cool

  • kann das gesund sein ?

  • in english?

  • translation: Can this be healthy?

  • this is beautiful!

  • Wow they're scary flexible

  • wooooooow

it's ashame they're so disgustingly skinny!!

  • You made your remark, accurately. Weight is used to exclude these particular athletes from certain team memberships. - A little know dark secret of their world- Nearly criminal.

    --Alex in VA--

  • seriously??

    omfg!!

  • no its not a shame.they're not anorexic.they are on strict diets but threy work out for 40 hours a week.they have muscles.they wouldn't be able to jump as high or put all of that presure on their bodies if they didn't have muscle.your remark is not accurate and not true.sorry.thats what happens when you strech ever day for about 8 hours.

  • you are right about the strict diets, but they actually have a lot of muscles. They don't just stretch, they also do about 200 sit-ups each day and pushups. That's how they make a full 360 turn with their leg in the air. duh.

  • ya exactly my point.i totally agree with you.

  • wow and my friends thought i was really bendy

  • major respect

  • i love rg. but my hobby is aestethic group gymnastics. it's same than RG but with the group.

  • That is so cool. Respect to all the training they must do. Very impressive.

  • So are the girls in rythmic gymnastics naturally flexible in their backs as well as their feet? Or do they train to become like that?

  • Yes their natural flexibility plus trainings help them to become excellent.

    -Hooby-

  • these girls are amazing

i have been a gymnast most all of my life but not like this

what is the song though? i would love to get the name of it.

  • Maroon 5 - Secret

  • um they do do it in the US and i imagine that it must be hard 2 do all that stuff with ribbions and hoops and balls and stuff
