@lgrady212 It's a compilation album titled Bluegrass Special. The album cover has a picture of a banjo propped next to a wooden shed along with other objects. This is quite commonly seen on ebay and has never been released on CD or mp3 that I know of.

What a beautiful job and what individual talents! Why wasnt this ever released as part of one of Red's LPs i/s/o as a studio leftover? Reds family has a lot to be proud of.

My Grandmother, Goldie, was Red's sister. He used to play at our family reunions....first class bluegrass musician and great guy.

I'm assuming this is the Red Allen from Pigeon Roost... my mom grew up there (born in 1931) and pretty sure she went out with him once or twice when they were kids. She said he was a great guy.
