  • awesome, when I see pieces like this, they inspire me to create some incredible things, all of the elements I have in my head, or things I just want to watch in 3D.

I´m from Colombia and I just want to be part of VFS because when I have the oportunity to watch that kind of material I say, I want to do things like that, or better! Congrats people.

  • Wonderful work!

  • Good work.

  • Great video. Keep up the good work.

  • Why do they not teach the students how to render out to proper HD ?

  • @Reijerkolle why don't ppl. like you keep their mouth shut if they have no clue about something?

i case you might have ever heard about 3d you might know that cgi has to be rendered meaning it takes a shitload (excuse me) of render power to create images like that. and it might not be obvious to someone like you, but maybe you can imagine that it is not possible for 30 students to render their reel at HD the same time when graduating because there simply is not enough render power available.

  • @h0ktar Oh boy... There's so much incorrect information in that chunk of disorganized text you just typed. The strange part about what you said is that if in fact you did know what your talking about, you would realize how incorrect it all was. So, right off the bat im not even going to waste my time correcting you because i know it will just go in one ear and out the other.

In short, no its not a big step up from rendering in sd to rendering in hd and you are a dumbass for not knowing that.

  • That chevy model is quite insane. Like the little details on it, grass on the floor and the drainage pipe. Also great texture job.

  • awesome

  • Nice!

  • Crazily I have no chance getting this good. Especially home taught

  • @VideoFletcher Of course you can. Get some Digital Tutors videos for the basics and then get the Gnomnom tutorials which are much more advanced and professional. Academic education is obviously much better, but with all the tutorials available you can become just as good.

  • @VideoFletcher you can get this good just practice and watch tutorials and all that stuff

many brilliant people in the business learned all that stuff by them self, most of the Pixar Animators for Example and it dosnt get much more professional than Pixar

  • @VideoFletcher Did you know that over 80% of CG artists in the industry are self-taught?

  • @Whinestee Yes I did just didnt no where to find the tools, thanks to the replys. got some stuff now

  • @Whinestee and im one of them :D
