I got this from amazon (link on the WowWee site) for £20/$33. It might be cheaper elsewhere but, that is just about the official price. I've seen ridiculously high prices for this (£40). My Recomendation: no more than £22.

By the way you can't control it because you have to point at it all the time you pillock the infared receiver wont pick up if your facing the other way. My brother is 8 and can control it much better than you, in my opinion just give up reviewing toys because you are obviously crap at it.

put your dogfight accessory on it , mine was doing the same thing, and now i love it. + your room is to small, in the user manual it says to fly in large indoor spaces,like a gymnasium,garage,mall. We have dog fight in the Y.M.C.A all the time, if you try it in a big space, you might like it better. 4 the ones that wont one Biglots has them 4 15$

well, impulse based optic controler to a rotating device....sure it gets all the remote signals well, duh. Who did design it? Couldn't use a 27 mHz receiver and remote? It was an extra 5 bucks at most, but hey, it was flyable and enjoyable, and mostly selleble.

I agree, these totally suck!!

It's pathetic that the best features it has are all related to CRASHING...the folding wings, the prop guards, the dreidel bumper bottom.

They give you replacement blades and props cuz they KNOW the auto pilot doesn't work.

If 'd have seen it in "action" beforehand, I wouldn't have gotten this flaming turd either.

Actually, this reminds me of that shoe in that movie 'Elizabethtown ....total CRAP!!!!!!

it happened to me what you have to do is check the 3 motors and look if it has hair and take them out helps it works

when your flying it point the remote to the bladestar and when it crash down put it in the floor turn off the remote and turn it on and then staright the bladestar's wings it will help you fly better dude .......thats my advice for you have fun and enjoy....!!!!=)

In the manual it says that the AUTOPILOT works beston white walls and by the looks of things, your walls look orange to me unless im colour blind and have you atually engaged the AUTOPILOT function by holding down the middle fire button before flying?

You switch on the Bladestar+Remote and before touching the throttle you hold down the middle button (the one you use for dogfights)

and try easing the power on and not climbing really quickly because it needs time to sence the roof.

I purchased one today after hours of research and emailing WowWee and it flies GREAT.If you are thinking of purchasing one, they are really good and do go fine. The autopilot goes fine but you cant climb too quickly because it needs enough time to scence the obstacles. This is a good product.

MAYBE your one didnt work so well because in the instruction manual it said white walls are the best because it works off reflection. Try a lighter walled room.

Target does better when it comes to quility, but in this case, it's the same product, therefore WM is the way to go.

Hi team222badbrad, I really appreciate your review on the WowWee, I agree with your review 100%. I just returned one that I bought the other day. I was lucky that they accepted the return. I have many RC helicopters and even the first RC UFOs that came out a few years ago. Wowwee prducts are more of a cool idea rather than actual robots and well working machinary. I got the dragonfly it's pretty cool, but if you want a real indoor flyer get the micro mosquito from bladestar.

First of all just because I've filmed the video in one location doesn't mean I haven't tried it in other locations....

The range of this is only 16ft according to the manual so that limits the product.

The ceiling height should not be higher than 15 feet.

Secondly I don't like it because it this product doesn't work as the packaging/commercials/etc. claims it does and I'm sure many people will agree with me as they already have.
