  • this video is exactly how the tab is supposed to be. 1/2 step down tuned flat. very good strum pattern. and your chord changes are spot on...great job...great lesson...!!!

  • awesome man

  • No I dont think this is a lame song at all

....you on the other hand tho.....

What a heap of fuckin shit!!

  • @connellrocraymond I see from your recent activity that it is your childish mission to just bash everybody that covers this song. Worst part is you have probably never even touched a guitar yourself LOL Your profile says you are 21 years old....come on level with me...your really about 13 right??

  • you don't need to move your last finger and ring finger throughout the whole song =)

  • @5challenge =) there are many songs like that, easy to play.

  • You did a great job, but around 2:50 when it goes out of the chorus into the next part, the chord structure goes: Dsus, Cadd9, Em7/Dsus, and back to C and then repeats and then after that comes the quick Em7, Dsus, and Cadd9. You did a good job. BTW, I love the sound of your guitar. Sounds just like my Takamine ean10c that I have. Just thought I'd help.

  • I like it just bcuz of it has a lotta acoustic guitar lol !

  • Great song, great cover!

Just tune all six strings down a half-step and it'll be perfect! Great job!

  • how is the strumming pattern'?

  • Can't you hear ? God

  • hey be nice, there r a lot of novice that wana learn, nothing wrong about asking.

  • Ya...u need to tune it half step down..

  • great teach-a-long side bar. very unlame song. it's the package, not the dazzle

  • close brother---tune down 1/2 step and you have it nailed....

  • is that a takamine

    if so what kind

  • Yeah, it's an EAN10C

  • very nice, it is probably the most unlame song i have ever heard. For all those metalheads out there who think i'm wrong, your too stupid to be able to tell a true classic from th sort of crap yu listen to

  • is it using standard tuning??

  • Yes

  • @crackster9 no tune a half step down or capo on first fret

  • Well done - nice touch having the chords at the side!

  • Thanks keyfretter

  • wow this helped alot! thanx!

  • hi. um can u help me out with the strumming pattern? XD

  • See my comment on the next page.......

  • also is it in standard tuning or half-step down, cause a lot of other tabs have it have half-step down.

  • I played it in standard and sounds spot on to me. I have the tab book but I am at work right now so can't check it. If it's not standard I will let you know tomorrow.

  • is the opening stumming pattern the same for the whole song? If it isn't could you please post it, thanks.

  • Same through out pretty much, see my comment below.

  • hey this is awesome! im sittin here tryna learn this song and your video really helped!! sweet job! :)

  • Thanks, glad I could help you!

  • You must be tone deaf, it's perfectly in tune. It's not hard to tune a guitar and I always make sure it's in tune. It's really not hard to tell that it sounds in tune too. Do you even have speakers with your computer?

  • i agree its in perfect tune

  • isnt the bride played wrong ? :)

  • i am learning tis song now..and i am blur...was it down down up up up down up down up??plz help mi..THX and what does it mean by Dsus4??

  • The opening is

    d...d...u,u,d...d,u,d,u

You will notice once in a while you hear an addition down strum but it doesn't matter, you can play it either way the entire time or add it once in a while. Keep your strumming hand in constant strumming motion and just feel it.....you'll get it. The other pattern with the extra down is like this

    d...d...D,u,u,d...d,u,d,u

The Dsus4 is actually called a Dsus2 I think, just a D chord but lift off your middle (second) finger.

    Good luck with it.

  • this is probably the best cover I've heard ever for this song. even better than montomaniac. good job.

  • definitely don't think it's a lame song. one of my favorites.

  • GREAT Tutorial!!! Thanks.

  • You're welcome Ryke

  • Good job ! what's the strumming pattern? thnx

  • I like the song, good job.
