  • This looks like an awesome, original movie!!! idk why, but this somehow reminds me of The Legend of Zelda in a way XD

  • Fuck yeah, I'm a ginger. A scottish one.

  • Now this movie need Groundskeeper Willie

  • '' i present my only son he took a hole..blablabla handedliy he- *take out a very ugly weak skninny punt liitle boy* lol

  • I'm looking forward to seeing it =)

  • am I the only one who thinks that the family looks like the Weasleys from Harry Potter :)

  • @daisysuku nope. i agree! ; ]

  • is the director pete docter...because I know he was the one who directed UP

  • Oh hope this will be a good movie!

  • finally not a skinny blond perfect princess

  • @NadineDanilchenko lol an easy example of that is cinderella. :/ she really annoys me

  • Hey ppl! did any1 else ever think about telling disney pixar about making 3 more further future movies?1.TVerse: about 2 childhood luving guys who sucked in 2 tv world and adventured in it 2.Futuresque:a tale about in 2089 3.Moneybag Murray:villian/anti-hero who saves the world

  • Reminds me of Mulan :)

  • Must.see.this.movie.

  • Weasley Family goes animated

  • @baconater1029 the origins of Molly perhaps?

  • I think I'm in love already. Okay, I know How to Train Your Dragon is made by DreamWorks and this is Pixar, but c'mon, you got people with SCOTTISH ACCENTS. How much better can it get? LEGENDS AND SCOTLAND GO HAND IN HAND PEOPLE. :'D

And, no, I'm not Scottish... do you have to remind me, oh beautiful trailer? DO YOU? </3

  • her voice reminds me of bubzbeauty LOL :)

  • I am sorry - you are totally right - I should give more room for others opinions....sorry for being so overbearing....you made a good point by the way (I realized after...)

  • I love everything with Scotland in it!!

  • Just amazing (:

  • Well, although it tells me almost nothing of the plot, it's better than the first trailer they gave us.

  • Waaaait Is June of 2012 or August of 2012

  • @mrkeshalover4ever August 17, 2012 to be precise. :)

  • Come June of 2012

  • everyone saying irish, i believe its scottish. Even a young person like myself can figure that out. Stop whining about gingers man, this movie looks epic and promising. I hope it is lately movies have been a disaster C:

  • Mulan meets Braveheart, yawn!!!!

  • That guy on 1:16 shows his but. hahahaha

  • Is it just me, or is there a creeping pro-ginger agenda going on in the media?

  • ???

  • Irish Mulan.

  • @joaoluizsn *facepalm*

  • @joaoluizsn Irish? Really?

  • say hi to the new disney princess....

How to train your dragon will always be first in my book.

    though it does look decent

  • In my family all the woman have red hair, shoot bow and arrows, ride horses, and are celtic women by blood! I cannot wait for this movie to come out! Is breá liom tú go léir! =D

  • I have Irish in me and I have naturally blonde hair with red highlights naturally in it and it curls like this! Love it though! But it is Disney so they need to do Lorelei since they have done all the other disastrous stories and abused Scotish-Irish heritage so.

  • @RawhidesDarkCanter What? ...

  • Am I the only one who thinks that half of the footage in this looked like Game Console Footage?

  • Cue the "How to Train Your Dragon" X "Brave" crossover fanfiction.

  • I love their accents :D

  • someone give that girl a brush

  • This kinda reminds me of How to Train Your Dragon and Braveheart mixed together. I feel like once Dreamworks has an idea, pixar follows with something similar and vice versa.

  • Brave, Tintin, Pirates in an Adventure with Scientists. Animation is coming back strong.

  • Wow. Even thought it uses the Dreamworks style of advertizing by showing the funny and stupid parts, it doen't hid the fact that it seems so... different from other Pixar movies. I can't wait

  • I love her hair :D

  • I was disapointed with Cars 2, however the level of expectation from Pixar is insanely high. This trailer didn't have me anywhere near as excited as previous pixar films, but as the saying goes, Don't judge a book by it's cover. I've got more than enough faith in Pixar in living up to their name and creating a great movie for both kids and adults. Looking forward to seeing this! And CAN'T WAIT for Monsters University in 2013 (Monsters Inc 2)! Pixar, Gods of animation

  • She sounds like Sarah Palin.

  • I can't wait!!!!! I really hope they don't skimp on romance though. The most romantic Pixar film, in my opinion is A Bug's Life and that was ages ago.

  • I'm not overwhelmed by this. Where's the story? Sometimes fantastic animation isn't enough. What happened to the mystery and suspense provided in the teaser?

  • @johnbrunedigital Where is the story of "Small fish gets lost"?

Oh wait, it was a basic premise and is a CLASSIC film. And that goes for other pixar classics like "Old man in flying house" and "toys move when you're not there"

  • This is going to be interesting. Pixar hasn't done anything like this before.

  • I went back to the UP trailer to compare the two, and the UP trailer follows a similar pattern to this one. It is full of comedic moments, light-hearted scenes, and hints at the action in the movie. Nowhere does the trailer reveal the emotional maturity and sophisticated theme present in the actual film.

I encourage everyone to go back to the UP trailers and see for yourselves. The first 10--15 minutes of UP are a complete shock if you look only at the trailers.

  • @Caliente1593 is there anything wrong with emotional maturity (in moderation of course and sensitivity to kids sweet hearts_...) but anyway - is there anything WRONG with showing kids things that will give them insight (which ha ...they proably already have) HUH????!!! cause' (just so you know - ) I BELIEVE that's ok - that I'd RATHER THAT then movies like shrek and Harry potter (dark and immature humour) I BELIVE in not belitliing kids with movies that darken

  • @thebluespirit123 Caliente1593 never said emotional maturity was a "bad thing", they were simply pointing out that both UP and Brave had similar trailers, and since UP was emotionally mature, we might be able to assume that Brave will be more mature as well. Never was it implied that the darker themes of the film would be bad. I understand how you could take it out of context, but maybe state your opinion in a calmer fashion next time and understand that others are free to their opinions as well

  • with movies that are mute/dumb in spirit and RAGING IN subtle gross pessimistic and agressively socialized rules like steriotypes and corrupting their minds...like hmmm where's a good example oh I KNOW SHREK 1 2 3 and all the rest of THOSE kinds of movies!! so LET THEM BE FREE! don't protect them from truth - but from harshness!! and pessimism of our decrepit culture...sorry.. ahem I do go on....(: and I didn't assume you thought that - just asking.....ha....

  • @Caliente1593 oh... i'm really sorry ... just... pleaase don't yell at me and cuss me out later in the comments - It always hurts! I just let loose sometimes about my philosophies - I just think the trailer looks decent and should be given a chance to be previewed first - I guess I just loved up - I had older grandparents and parents who had trouble with death and letting go of what they loved - I thought UP was beautiful and sweet and imaginative and deep in a good way - don't you think?

  • @Caliente1593 i never like most trailers for animated movies because really they show silly moments and a few action scenes that aim for younger ppl. however, since i love animated films and shows i take a chance at watching the finished product due to the fact i know that the trailers are more than what they appear

  • SO excited by this :D

  • What a disappointing trailer. I thought Brave was going to be more serious for older fantasy fans, but now it looks like standard kid's movie with annoying slapstick.

  • @123rockfan Really? It's Pixar, they have to pitch it to kids. Because it's Pixar and that's what they do. However, in the blog for the movie they did say that Brave would have a more serious and darker theme. But of course there will be slapstick moments, kids will be watching it too...

  • It's Gobber!! Ahaha, I'm going to be thinking about How To Train Your Dragon the whole time!!

  • how to train your dragon?.... fail.....

  • @MissDevPink No fail at all :) at least not for this film. "How To Train Your Dragon" had dragons and vikings. "Brave" is a film about a Scottish princess defying the customs of her country, and relying on her bravery and bow skills to undo a curse (which I'm assuming was brought on by her defiance & choices). No vikings, no dragons. Soooo, I guess YOU failed? XD Haha

  • @caseyfornia It doesn't have dragons and vikings, but it has the same feel with the way the people are made for the most part. I can't help it thats what I see. I"m not saying its gonna suck, but I"m not impressed yet either. So I won't whip out my art pad and start doodling this girl like mad. I don't really like her design, and I'm not sure if I like her attitude. We'll see. I have nothing against strong women mind you, she just seems so self focused.

  • Amazing hair! Nice work!

  • Wow, I can't wait to watch the full film.

  • Yay, a Pixar Original (Non-sequel) . . . Can't wait!

  • Third time watching and I say...

    SCREW Rapunzel, Merida is HOT!

  • If it's not Scottish, it's CRAP!

  • Nice.

  • Makes me proud to be Scottish.

  • HOLY CRAP! AWESOME!

  • nice

  • Good :D
