Gartrell is no LT. LT was a name and projected late round 1 pick. His only question mark was "could he run inside the tackles?" the answer we now know is "YES!" Gartrell is great, but lacks the speed to get outside the tackles on those plays everyone knew (and knows) LT excelled at.

I think Gartrell will become an elite RB..his size and vision are awesome. He is a mix of Brandon Jacobs and Steven Jackson(rams)...whats cool is...LT was a "NO NAME" back and his number in college was number 5. Now the chargers draft Gartrell who is a underated back and wears number 5 in college. LT turned into a HOF RB...will Gartrell?
