  • Trish Keenan RIP

  • just heard the awful news on tumblr a cpl. hrs. ago @jayjaycolon a musical talent from another galaxy, taken from us wayy too soon ... blessings to trish's family and band ......

  • Was Edie loveable? Was Andy loveable? Of course they were even if you might have had a really bad fight with them and maybe never seen either again, except sometimes in yourself

  • gee, the same vids under "More From:desertshore" as under "Related Videos"...you've arrived, my dude...

  • Edie came from the social class who naturally assume all eyes are on them...so self-conscious that she is relaxed as the center of attention--even wore giant earrings, short shock of hair. and heavy mascara because she wanted constant attention...

  • 3 vids in 1 day...gonna send you a heating pad wrist band...

  • i already need it from shovelling!!! lol

  • i read the most bizarre thing, i think in "Girl On Fire, recently: a quote from a person who stumbled on edie @ a mirror @ a klub: edie was slowly, methodically painting\accentuating the scar btwn her eyebrows. the person was freeked lol...

  • Gerard Malanga also said she accentuated the scar with mascara pencil. I think she loved to look striking.

  • we KNOW she did *.*!

  • Of course, lol. I think that's why Edie said she never thought of herself as beautiful until the end of her life, she was so perfect and angelic looking that nothing in particular stood out about her face. Maybe that's also why she loved being facially expressive.

  • she had very lush & symmetrical features tho, and certainly knew how to play them up, esp. w/ the "Cleopatra" egyptian eyeliner\heavy lipliner look she's got going here hehe. (and later, all the "lip gloss") ..i think she knew she was ultra-good looking, but tried to play it off, to be humble & approachable. she carried herself VERY confidently when she was @ her zenith, and Warhol could certainly recognize a perfect face . . .

  • That's true, Edie was more self-aware and knowing of how people responded to her than her self-possession may have let on, but I do think she took for granted both her beauty and charming personality to some extent. It's hard to fully appreciate something without having experienced the opposite, which is also why I think Andy's appreciation for her was so extraordinary.
