straight line top speed is meaningless unless you are at bonneville.
XB's are bleeding edge chassis ...its like it is wired to your brain,you think where you want it to go,and it goes.
they COULD have gone with rotax 900 and 1125's and still have a kick ass ride with more hp and top end.
i love mine and will always have one.
now scheming to get a ducati monster

Looks cool, but buells are slow, well the new 1125 is better but the old sporty engine just can't hang with any supersport out there

The Buell XBs is not a racing bike. It's a bike made for the city. It has a explosive acceleration and an excellent handling. Top speed is about 130mph and believe me, it's hard to keep yourself on the bike at those speeds.
