Reading these comments, i realize that a majority of the target audience don't have an appreciation for an awesome story and plot. stop waiting for the action, guys. the bread and butter of the movie was it's storyline and acting.

IMO I was really let down by the overt laziness of this movie. However, the sets were friggin amazing and the old Hollywood style music matched the sets and spirit of the film perfectly. But I am so sick and disgusted by filmmakers who rely heavily on jump-scares and gratuitous gore in the place of good story or good directing. And I am bored of actors who pretty much just call in a performance. Where was the intensity? I could almost see Emily Blunt speaking lines through her chewing gum.
