  • let me end all arguments about religions.. Christianity does not belong in the continent.. it has done more harm than good...end of argument.

  • If we're going to get into semantics then the correct word is "hegemony".

  • The Aztecs were not evil, they were simply following their religious beliefs. Christians used to burn people alive in the name of their religion, so where is the difference here? Religions have always scapegoated people, that's one of the problems with religion. Every religion singles out a certain group as being favored and special above all others. Which is what makes murder in the name of religion so easy for people.

  • The Aztecs were overcome by Cortez so easily because they believed he was Quetzalcoatl, the "Feathered Serpent" of their religion returned. By coincidence, many of the details of Cortez's arrival coincided with their ancient prophecies.

  • @8698gil not just that, but because of the 200,000 native allies the spanish had. Cortez army was shit even with guns and armor.

  • Goood

  • the people of the Americas in my opinion are a lot more sophisticated and civilized than the europeans who came to conquer, rape and kill for the gold... using the name of "god" as an excuse. I don't even think Christians and Catholics are supposed to be mean, steal, or kill others. Isn't it a sin to do that?

  • I love the Aztec culture!! its sO interesting

  • CONT. But there's a major fundamental problem here: you never specified what he was "right" about. Were you referring/agreeing with his implicit assertion that the Aztecs cut peoples hearts out, or were you referring/agreeing with the subjective notion that "the Aztecs were evil"? LOL. So, he was "right" about a subjective notion? "True subjectivity"; "Subjective truth"? Is that an oxymoron? What the hell? And you claim that I "know" that his opinion is correct? Please clarify.

  • The human sacrifice was not "sadistic, savage or barbaric?" It was just a "religious obligation?" Taking off and wearing their skins?

Please. We don't know if the captives went willingly. I doubt many did. There was probably a kind of propaganda aspect in the documents.

  • @TheLoyalOfficer Where's cuzcatlan36's condemnation of the European people??? How fucking hypocritical. Use your fuckin' brain, kid. The problem is, trolls like you and him oversimplify the complexities of discerning and ascertaining truth from falsity, AND DO NOT omit the imposition and assertion of your opinions, biases, and lack of knowledge. FALLACIES abound.

  • Ah! the butterfly sits on the flower......ARGGGG!!!! I cut your filthy HEARTTTTT!!! The spaniards came just in time to erase these evil people.

  • @cuzcatlan36 You're a terrible troll, dude

  • @drki11joy123 Yeah but he is right and you know it.

  • @TheLoyalOfficer Right and wrong= subjective. Yes, the priests did cut peoples' heart out, and possibly ate them. Your point? If we judged an entire people based on not only one aspect of their culture, but an act which only a VERY FEW individuals actually carried out, then the Spanish and English were the most barbaric, savage, sadistic people who ever walked the Earth. Yeah, let's just ignore 99.9% of their culture and deem them a horrible people based on the terrible acts of a few.

  • @drki11 Those "horrible few" ran the state! European history is CONSTANTLY judged by the actions of a few.

Why do you think 50,000 natives rallied to Cortez? It was not steel swords, gunpowder, horses, or even smallpox that won the war for Cortez. It was the native allies. Why did they join Cortez? Because they were tired of having their sons' hearts cut out.

  • @TheLoyalOfficer I'm sorry, what is your point again? Let's get down to the heart of your responses.

    Cucatlan said:

"The spaniards came just in time to erase these evil people" (the first part of his comment is irrelevant, being that it only, mockingly, is a supplement/amplifier to his obvious trolling)

I then called him a troll.

You then imposed a self-true bias: "He is right", and claimed I possessed knowledge of Cuzcatlan's self-truth bias with the words, "you know it." CONT.

  • @TheLoyalOfficer "Why do you think 50,000 natives rallied to Cortez?"

Yes, they were very tired of being attacked by the Aztecs, and they knew, eventually, that they were going to be conquered by them and turned into a tributary state. So they decided to join Cortez in the fight against their age-old enemy, the Aztecs! Rarr! They conquered the bad guys and peace was finally restored to the valley. The end. Cool story, huh? Long story short: I know. Let me know when you have a point to make.

  • @drki11 Take it easy, tough guy. My point is that Cortez was not the Devil that the libtard academic/media set portray him as. Bottom line - if the Aztecs were not so cruel, they would have held on to their empire and beaten the Spaniards. (There were only about 1000 Spanish troops.)Then they could have dealt with them as equals. It staggers the mind thinking of what Latin America would be like today had they managed to endure through justice rather than slaughter.

  • @TheLoyalOfficer it was more like 200,000 allies. cortex would of got his as killed even with all this guns horses.

  • 6:38 These narrators are misleading their audience. Any reasonable citizen of that ancient society hearing the cries and screams of sacrificial victims will be horrified. Fear and terror would be a major part of any such society.

  • @Afrocanuk Umm, no. They observed sacrifice since they were children. It was a normal part of their lives. Why would they be terrified?

  • @Afrocanuk They didn't think like us, not at all. It was like going bankrupt, they weren't scared/

  • westerner really did a number on numerous indigenous civilization, i.e Aztec, Inca, native Americans, Australian Aborigines, Indian, Pre colonial African civilization. Not fair what they did to this world. Just imagine a world where European stayed on their continent with "civilization" the whole world.

  • wtf dude.....these guys are sick. they are soooooooo mean to the captives i would hate to be a captive...dang.

  • sorry not a Empire..it was A alliance....Documentales Mexico is a eurocentric supremicist history changing entity

  • @puertasdecielos Ha ha ha ha

  • @puertasdecielos you dont know shit a alliance huh? where do you get ur bullshit from ?

  • Comment removed

  • @puertasdecielos it was a empire you dumbshit.

  • u dont evan kno what the pope jews muslims and other people to during the crusades they arrested and impisend gallilo for saying the sun was the center of earth during the 1600 the cristanon religon was wore look at the aztecs they were 100x more advanced in science astronmy becuz they religon didnt oprress the people didnt reject new ides and hellped them

  • from your eays their evile since u hail from cristitain orgins and your belifs that human sacrfice is wrong but thats your belive they didnt just build stuff they we masters of the cosmos galileo was childs play to what the aztecs new he was like a reatrted kid going up againstalbert einstein

  • Who cares if they built stuff; they were evil bastards. The way I see it, the coming of the Spaniards to topple their system was just punishments for all their demon worshiping and the hedious killings they did.

  • You dare talk about "demon worshiping" and "hedious killings"? The Spaniards lined up the Aztecs, hung them in groups of thirteen. 12 to represent your 12 apostles, and one to represent Christ, and as they hung helplessly, the spaniards slit their stomachs open. How's that for, "hedious killings"? Or what about the aztec babies the spaniards took and fed to their hounds for entertainment? Who's the demonic race now?

  • You know nothing of history nor of culture.

  • Wear human skin? what the f%$#!!!

  • muy buen video!!! viva meshico(mexico)

  • los españoles siempre se justifican con esas tonterias pero solo les dijo quienes fueron peores los aztecas o los españoles ke mataron serca del 80% de la poblacion indigena en america?

  • thanks for great video

  • Stupid spaniards had to destroy such a beautiful culture...

  • Beautiful? Flaying someone's skin is and then wearing it is beautiful to you?

  • I dont know whats beautiful about a culture that cuts out peoples hearts eats their arms and legs and wears their skin. Also spaniards played a minimal role in the downfall of the culture it was other mesoamerican tribes which opposed the Aztecs and they contributed to the Aztecs demise through war. Disease finished them off. You cant blame the conquistadores for the Aztecs lack of resistance to a disease.

  • Alright, that part about the flaying was too much. If that's not savagery then what is it? and the babies? I guess Cortez came to do what had to be done! stop those monsters!

  • Spaniards fed their dogs with babies. Guess that's sound better to you fukcing ignorant.

  • The Aztec religion was fu** up but they were 10x smarter, advanced n definitely cleaner then the Spaniards. It was savage, but for them it wasnt. While the Spanish burned, n tortured people for not believe in their god. the Aztec offered themselves for their believe.

  • @slimm1121 well said :)

  • i just love history ... like to learn them rather than studying it for exams ....

  • History exams are easy if you really like the subject, as when you study its more enjoyable than studying a subject you dont like.
