This has a one dimensional sweep like a tremolo. The varying swirl of the uni-vibe has a truly natural sound, like that of the movement of a flame, in that it's not static, like a candle in a dead calm room. Lovepedal makes good pedals, but this can't replace an original uni-vibe's sound.
This a a one dimensional tremolo type oscillation. It doesn't have the Univibes varying swirl. It's quite evident in the dark side of the moon by pink floyd.
Pink Floyd...the first time I heard that song I was quite stoned and in a high-end stereo shop with a salesman who was cranking the snot out of some Leslie speakers as I began melting into a puddle on the floor and started evaporating into the air when a breeze blew in and carried me away...
so does this thing have an l.f.o. in the circuit?? if not, can you recommend a pedal that has an l.f.o. so that I can get that "wobble" feature but with more precision and control?
it works great wit my solid state ibanez amp and squier guitar, but when i engage it and disengage it i hear a pop. i know it's true bypass and i did that thing that you wrote on the PGS site. pls help me :(
@Nimrod9458 - You may need to work the switch on and off a few times when you begin playing, to discharge the static electricity that builds up in the true bypass switch. If you're still having problems feel free to give us a call at the shop - 503-670-4949. Thanks!
got it today. at first i thought there was something wrong with it cuz there was no effect, but then i realised that the internal trimpot worked as a bias knob and it took a while to find the sweetest spot.
my guess is that it would sell a lot more if that trimpot was on the outside. the ability to change settings on the fly seems to be loosing importance for the builders, but not for the users. a killer sounding pedal like this should have all its tweakability available at all times
everytime I hear one of your demos I just have to go Play!! Just never get the same sound as Andy, damn he is a good guitarist but he does have all the toys in the factory at his disposal and I am just a mortal.
love it but just bought the pickle vibe from you. darn it I think im going to tell myself their the same but love the real pedal size and the black paint job.Not dissing the pickle vibe at all the small purple box is killer.
@rickysleeper At the beginning of the video, he tells you that he's plugged into a Fender Deluxe Reverb reissue and if you pause at 0:24, it tells you the type of guitar he's using.
whats the song starting at 1:42 . i m asking this because last night i thought i composed a beautiful original tune until i heard this!! this is almost identical . i used phaser .
I love the sounds from the Lovepedal Magicboy Vibe. I want to make the music sounds just like this video. :)
