This has a one dimensional sweep like a tremolo. The varying swirl of the uni-vibe has a truly natural sound, like that of the movement of a flame, in that it's not static, like a candle in a dead calm room. Lovepedal makes good pedals, but this can't replace an original uni-vibe's sound.

This a a one dimensional tremolo type oscillation. It doesn't have the Univibes varying swirl. It's quite evident in the dark side of the moon by pink floyd.

Pink Floyd...the first time I heard that song I was quite stoned and in a high-end stereo shop with a salesman who was cranking the snot out of some Leslie speakers as I began melting into a puddle on the floor and started evaporating into the air when a breeze blew in and carried me away...

it works great wit my solid state ibanez amp and squier guitar, but when i engage it and disengage it i hear a pop. i know it's true bypass and i did that thing that you wrote on the PGS site. pls help me :(

got it today. at first i thought there was something wrong with it cuz there was no effect, but then i realised that the internal trimpot worked as a bias knob and it took a while to find the sweetest spot.

my guess is that it would sell a lot more if that trimpot was on the outside. the ability to change settings on the fly seems to be loosing importance for the builders, but not for the users. a killer sounding pedal like this should have all its tweakability available at all times
