good riddance, if you cant control a combat animal it should be killed. Go hug one of them things when they are running towards you, pitbulls were selected for fights and they are combat/aggressive by nature, that is way they should be only given with permission to trained people that would know how to train them, since they can be amazing animals ONLY if trained/raised properly everything else is danger for surrounding and your own families. Grow up and smell reality.

Surprise, a Pit attacking from a low class area.
Here's the problem, "Police have not issued a citation to the owner and could issue a fine." I think everyone agrees the owners, not the dog, are responsible. More stiff penalties against irresponsible owners are needed. The pit owner should be in jail for assaulting an officer. Btw Hacker, a police and his partner each tased a pit during an attack I witnessed, and it didn't stop the dog from attacking.
