not up on the sunshine coast, that's sub-tropical to tropical weather all year round. Summer is obviously warmer and more humid. Down in the southern regions you get snow in the mountains and alpine regions but its only for around 10 weeks of the year. Gotta love Australia :)

It is sure to still be a bit colder down in Melbourne, but I'm sure your summer will start soon enough and you'll be wishing for autum! Good luck with your own veggie garden, there is always room for something!
I call chillies the smaller ones that range from mild to hot in taste, where as peppers are much larger, also known as capcicum and are not normally hot at all.
