@SgtLeroy2609 Everything looks better in sepia. Everyone always seems so much happier. I was there in 2008 after Katrina. I loved that base anyway. I would have stayed in longer than 4 years if I had the privilege of staying somewhere closer to the coast than colorado
Brings back memories. I was stationed there in 1972. Barracks look the same in this clip as when I arrived. We had to pretty much stay out of the ocean there tho as Camille had just hit in 69, and hadn't been cleaned up entirely yet. Still loved the area.
Nice video, was stationed there in 1958 and was lived in nice quarters
in the new Triangle Area. Went to the beach a lot....loved Biloxi & Gulfport.
