I agree with this video to a certain extent. But only because I believe in the 'To each his own' concept. The furs who engage in such activity have every right, but they shouldn't be interwoven into furrydom to the point where nobody can tell us apart, and thus, as you said, blame the entire community. I haven't really had the chance to hang out with other furries, but I have already dealt with people calling me obscene names because of the fact that I like to draw anthro animals. What harm is there in drawing myself as a cartoon husky or deer? I'm not hurting anyone. No furry I know of has ever hurt anyone. Trolls aren't considering the sensibilities of the issue, they're simply slandering and destroying "furries".

On a personal level, I really don't care what trolls say to me when it comes to being a furry. My concern is skewed media coverage judging the furry fandom as being a fetish based on only one segment of the fandom and the resultant reprisal from furry haters and trolls the poor media coverage has touched off.

Furries are folks who have an affinity for anthropomorphic animals. But Anthropomorhic animals are just a concept. But it is an incredible concept that has been with humanity since the stone ages. As for taking things too seriously. Some furries do. But the same applies to some of those of other fan bases.

This is probaply the most thought out video on furry fandom/trolling I have ever heard. However I myself as a furry must say that the pornography will not end. Anthropomorhic Animal art is one of many art genres I include in my repertoire. However, I refrain from creating pornographic content furry or otherwise. One, partaking in the sexual aspects of the furry fandom does more harm than good. Two, drawing and posting any pornographic content would jeopardize my credibility as a professional artist.

From what I've seen, the amount of furries interested in the sexual aspect are greater than what you suggest. Our observations of the Fandom seems to differ. However, there are an awful lot of furies that are not into the sexual aspects or atleast choose not to post such content. Regardless, with the entire fandom being labeled as perverted, clean furries are being subjected to the same scorn condemning the actions of furries choosing the sexual aspects, much to the frustrations of many furries throughout the Furry Fandom.

Do not be reluctant to further pursue the Furry Fandom. Trolls may think they have the upper hand on this so called war. But really the Furry Fandom remains as strong as ever and still growing. The record numbers of attendees of recent Anthrocon conventions is but one of many examples.

You share my same feelings about the trolls. They go after all the furries who don't believe in the adult aspects of the fandom. They don't rely on sources outside the Internet and media and produce their own fabrications on the fandom.
