Forsberg isnt a goal scorer....he is a play maker...i take a healthy forsberg over a healthy jagr, if jagr doesnt score he can do nothing else for the team. If forsberg doesnt score he can still lay out the other teams best player

I guess if you're watching anything post-Colorado. Again, though, he was signed to be a goal scorer when he came into the league. Look at his stats... he went from a 30 goal scorer, to what... 13 goals in 2006-2007, and only 19 the year before that with Philly.

Jagr was a great offensive force when he was young.......and when he played with Lemieux. This year he has done pretty terrible.......Forsberg came back this year and is leading the avalanche through the playoffs. Jagr is WAY overrated and is one of the worst defensive players i have ever seen. Forsberg is good on both ends of the ice and he hits. If Jagr actually uses his size and hits somebody i would have more respect for him but he doesnt. Forsberg does it all

look dude. First off Foresberg is a great player, and im not gonna hate on him but a few things straight. A center (foresberg), is supposed to be a better defender than a right winger (jagr). 2, foresberg has played his entire career with an all time great like sakik, so why arent his numbers huge? (885 points to jagr's 1600!) number 2, jagr played hurt this year and he still lead the rangers in goals and points, and did so again in the first round.

Forsberg's numbers arent huge because of he is incrdibly injury prone. He is hurt so much he is never able to play a full season. Maybe if he didnt hit so much he wouldnt get hurt as much as he does. Jagr is great. Im partial to Forsberg and there is no real way to pick who is better. They are two of the greatest players the NHL will ever see.
