  • I learned more from this woman, than I did from my Riding Instructor. So chill people. (:

  • If there is no reason to hate, people online will find a reason to hate...

  • @carlyozzie I agree. I don't understand how people can be so damn insensitive. They take time out of their day to help someone they would most likely never see FOR FREE and all people do is bitch and moan?! Completely rude and ignorant.

  • I did not know you had to clean the horses ears

  • haha, that horse realy likes itXD

  • ice pick

  • @vekka220 Too dangerous.

  • Ok If she is doing something different to what you do or have seen then whatever! Unless it is hurting the horse then it doesn't matter. Maybe this is a news flash to you but she is obviously a professional and she is in this video up to HELP people who want to know how to take care of a horse. She didn't make this video so that people who 'claim' they know how to do it can criticize her on her methods. Just sayin'!

  • @hannahjoyquinn You are SO correct!

  • @hannahjoyquinn You are SO correct! I'll give you a thumbs up!!!

  • @trizan123 Ha ha that was so long ago... thanks :)

  • @hannahjoyquinn :) Still, that is SO correct! She's trying to help the people that need help. Not to start fights on YouTUbe about how to care for a horse.

  • err actually a horse wouldnt get scared of a cross tie because horses are only put on a cross tie if desperatly needed !

  • @horseriderhannah Most English barns require horses be on ties at all times when being groomed, tacked, or vetted.

  • Watch my video Sadie1138 Horse Care!!!!!!!!!!

  • I never Knew all This Horse Care , I would Be lost without this girl from expert village she is doing a very good job and explaining and is really helping me and others alot ! :)

  • Wth Parelli Natural Horsemanship techniques you wouldn't need cross ties or a stool. The horse would lower its head for you and keep it there. Thanks for the advice on ear cleaning though.

  • @GlynDowding In a lot of english liveries or schools, it is a requirement to have your horse tied when being groomed, or whenever they will be outside their stable, obviously not in the paddock :P

Like when you are mucking out.

If, god forbid, there is an accident, I've heard the insurance becomes void if the horse was not correctly tied and supervised. That's what it was at the last stables I worked at :)

  • What type of breed is the horse ? I learnd something :D I thiught you had to buy something ( thats what people told me at the stable) ut it turns out u dont :D

  • this horse is beautiful!! love the dapples!

  • haha, see how the horses eyes went all droopy? she was LOVING it. lol

i love this persons videos :)

  • my horse has like this horrid stuff comin out of his ear and it wont go i tried to clean it but he dont like me touchin his ears so what can i do ?

  • i would get help from your vet. but dont try to just go quick like she did in this video i had a horse that was head shy and it took FOREVER to just get close to his eyes. it takes a while to get them tolerant if they really dont want you touching there

  • probably an ear infection. Best thing is to ask a vet, if he doesn't let you touch, it's probably painful...

  • this horse is doin the same thing mine does..when i clean mines ears he leans into it, and like others have said, this girl does an amazing job at explaining things, and the horses ears were not PINNED BACK. for thos of you who said it looks like the horse was pissed..yall need to pay more attn to your horses if you have them. come on now...kudos to mara! keep up the good work girl!!

  • the most stupid video on ear cleaning on youtube !!!!

sorry but I did not learn anything new !!!

  • I learned something, I didn't even know you had to clean a horses ears. Stop being so rude. :)

  • @weysst i didnt know that eaither ahahha

  • cut her some slack, she does a really good job at explaining

  • @bs4eva19 i agree people are so rude when it comes to expert village but i think they do great job at explaining

  • If she enjoys it, why are her ears laid back?

  • hi ,

horses ears go back when they're listening. If they're PINNED DOWN, then you know it's mad. Pinned down is like the ears are so far back they can almost touch the coat.

Now this horse IS enjoying this. She's calm and not unrested at all.

  • she is just a bit scared! i woudnt want anyone to clean my ears right away!

  • its ears are not pinned back.

when they are flat back the horse is pissed

when they are around in the middle they are relaxed

and when they are forward and swiveling its pretty obvious they are happy and or paying attention.

    :)

  • "he actually seems to enjoy this" HA! ya righttt, doesn't look like it!

  • i agree with youwhoo888. his ears are just back. if its pinned down back then he is angry. as long as he is not upset and rearing.
