  • N5101E, she is my favorite aircraft.

    Treat her nice.

  • ahh the first flight lesson . . . i remember mine 3 years ago and I will never forget. Itsa great feeling. Im a freshman in high school and soloing for the first time next year. Im so excited. Good luck with it! Nice flight!

  • I have flown that plane. Executive flyers is a great school. Who is the instructor that you were flying with, do you remember?

  • Rob Marshall was the instructor... don't know if he's still there.

  • i hope that you allow him to continue taking flight lessons!!

  • I fly a SLA-80 in Britain and its a fixed winged microlight and the age restriction is 16 or when ever the instructor thinks you are confident enough to fly solo.

    Oh and nice Job Matthew.

  • Looks like so much fun, I was 14 when I had my first intruductory flight, now I can solo in 1 more year!

  • LUCKY KID! man im 15 and well i live in Sacramento so sould i be able to fly as well? and how much? ^_^ good parents.

  • I don't think there's an age restriction for an introductory flight. Some flight schools require you to be 16 in order to fly certain planes or enroll in certain lessons, so just call around. An introductory flight costs between $60 and $80; Matthew got to actually take the controls during his 30-minute introductory flight.

  • whichi flight school is a good one because i live in sacramento and i was looking for a good flight school to start my flight lessons :]please help

  • hahahha

  • I recommend Executive Fliers. They're located at Sacramento Executive Airport off of Freeport Blvd.

  • i've done some research and i also found that Sky Walk, Inc is also a good school too.

So can you give me whats the pro and cons of those 2 flight schools ? which one is better/cheaper? oh and Fyi im 15 right now :]

  • I don't know about Sky Walk. We chose Executive Fliers because the Air Force ROTC Detachment (AF) at CSUS recommended them; The AF used to send their students to Executive Fliers for their flight screening program before it was discontinued

  • I took my first lesson when I was 12. I am now 16 and have soloed. (I have never forgotten my first lesson) Good luck with your flying!
