  • Why does Las Vegas to Florida have the same cinder block stucco buildings everywhere being built? I seen this style of buildings being built where I live in Canada too. . Architecture as a profession must have gone to the hell!

  • Channel side, Harbor Side and the rest of the Downtown Tampa area is garbage and only idiots buy there. You are right by calling it silliness as the whole area is surrounded by ghettos and the homeless. Look at it like a bulls eye, your in the middle and the predators surround you. I really never understood why people want to go somewhere that has bad parking, extortionist parking rates, one way streets and crime. The crime is unreported and under-documented so as to make the area look better.

  • What are you talking about? The recession officially ended in April 2009. LOLOLOL Yeah right.

  • @jsnip4

Absolutely, the recovery has been underway for 2.5 years! haha

  • Time for a takeover.

  • @abbittibbi1 BABYLON FALLING HARD IN 2011

  • the whole foodstamp thing is propping up corporate food mfg.... spend less and COOK instead... that would really be a statement... huh?

  • Around Stade de France outside Paris, France, the whole new area has turned out to be a pain for residents & they're leaving. It's toxic, when there's an event they can't get their own cars in & out of expensive private parking spaces, there's a dearth of useful business services, such as basic grocery stores, & they are fed up with going to town centre to get stuff done. The workers are not crazy about the area -- the RER trains are hell.

  • Per their website, construction started in 2006, completed in 2008.

  • @jvolstad

    oops for them.

  • Tell it EconCat!! Build it and they will come philosophy destroyed downtown Brooklyn New York!!!! All these expensive condos and no tentants!!! I hope to take some video soon!!

  • Well, If there are looking good ladies that come here, like these buildings, I'm available,,,ho,,,yes.

  • Looks like a nice place to live, where'd everybody go.

  • @mja2035

The buildings haven't been filled since being built. I've driven past those buildings for years, and finally got around to making a video. They are filling, albeit very slowly.

  • Bucket? You rolling in the bucket now?

  • What's that junk hanging from your mirror. Vodo beads? LOL.

  • The Slade Condos, from $140K to $300K+, which breaks out to around $200 a sq ft. Oh and BTW, you need to fill out a reservation agreement and give a deposit if you want to view a condo. They will give you your deposit back if you don't buy. Or so they say. Sounds like a scam to me. But then this is real estate.

  • Hey Cat can you do a drive by of Disney World and Epcot? I drove through there Monday and it was empty. Trams were not running. Completely empty. Thanksgiving week no vacationers.

  • @apox2011now

I've only scratched the surface of the Orlando area, and I still don't have any Jacksonville area footage.

  • Yeah your back in florida.

Im not gonna lie though id rather see you back in Thailand :P

  • @EWOKCAD

Ditto. That's looking like it will happen in April 2012.

  • @EconCat88

Have you thought of Japan? Wow the girls are amazing. Japanese are the best girls IMO.

Japan and Thailand would be on my to do list if I ever get around to traveling.

  • the slave condos.

  • @apox2011now

That is right. developers should be ashamed. Big buildings are ok for business or conventions but should not be for domiciles.

  • is that Bejing?

  • @apox2011now

No, Beijing would have built them at least twice as tall.

  • You are showing people what is REALLY GOING ON. I have to thank you for what you are doing. THANK YOU!!

  • @1000chic

    I appreciate the positive feedback.

  • Good upload

They're going to have to sell this kind of stuff at fire-sale prices in the end, & if it's in the wrong areas & can't get quality tennants/owners, or the money isn't there to maintain it, they'll probably as a slum districts
