  • I'm about 205 and lean and I can rep 275 for 10 reps clean on incline... I don't max out. That is a strong bench, yes, but shit man you probably weigh over 400... ha... start leaning up and you would look sick... and probably save yourself from a heart attack. You know how much pressure is on your cardiovascular system with all that fat?? Take it for what it's worth...

  • Actually speed does matter. The slower you do it the more you're getting for your workout. Its all about lowering it down slowly and exploding up.

  • If I am right, this man just put up 505 after doing 600 lbs for 3 reps on one of the other clips. Damn that is impressive. I'm sure he could do more than 505 on incline. I can't vouch for anyone else but when I do heavy flat bench I lose about 15% of my strength due to muscle fatigue and I am not as strong on incline as I would be if I started incline as my first exercise.

  • @NaturalBornLeader1 I know. In a 1 rep shoulder press machine at the gym (limited free weights) I put up 58kg struggling with all my might. For multi rep workouts after warmup I'm usually in the lower 40s so I lose a lot of strength over a single fresh effort.

  • Going to start out with 315... For most people, it takes years to do a 315 for a flat let alone incline. I love this guy, he is very relaxing.

  • @dom99661 I don't see why it would be better, unless you have a rotator cuff issue. If it hurts, work on flexibility. Slowly introduce ballistic stretching with a small weight and let the bar rest on your chest like you're doing a bench press on the bottom position and hold it.

  • I have seen a lot of high weight gym exercise videos on YouTube, and this one was the first I've favorited, to my memory. Why? Because his attitude is just immense. I love his approach to the gym. I love that he is natural. He's also a funny guy. Big ups Mr. Henderson, I'd love to have you as my trainer, and i wish more guys at the gym could be like you.

I dont look buff, but my chest is 63" around, and you sure as hell dont get messed with when your my size, no matter what muscle tone.

  • people that complain about his extra weight dont understand that male strength comes from muscle combined with weight. a slim cut , defined male may be good for a photo shoot but in nature it doesnt compare to an oak.   • @NaturalBornLeader1 yes read into powerlifting to see how to make the greatest strength gains. regardless of your goals even bodybuilders go through the "bulking" phase to add mass. many people make the mistake to to consider their ribcage as a six pack.

    Completely agreed. That's why I'm always so torn on about cutting, as I'm afraid to lose ANY of the strength I've worked hard to gain. I guess I just prefer to be strong and bulky than looking like a fitness model. Different strokes for different folks.
