@metalbassline You should better know, that without us, by talking of my origin, you wouldn't have had any jet engines until the 60's. Except you would have stolen it from the Britains instead of us. But either way, that's history and you should get things straight first before you start insulting someone. I'm aware of the jets the US is building and I totally respect their work. They have great jets and good inventions but Germany isn't inferior.

@dixievfd55 Yes it is. Why are you asking? MTU Aero-Engines built together with Rolls-Royce and FiatAvio Turbine. As far as I know, there were also german engineers working on the processing of the whole project. But I don't have detailed information.

I'm too, I love the sound of jet engine, I'll still remembered during Thunderbirds F-16C visit to my country, I'm standing about 20-30 meters away (without earplug !) while they passed by taxing one by one for their show. That's the closes I can get..Awesome
