IV beats VI by a cunt hair. But the soundtrack for IV is 10x better. I find that in VI, after the floating continent, the game kind of loses its direction. IV is solid the whole way through.

@8JohnGalt8 the game loses its direction because after the floating continent, the game is yours to control. you're not forced along with the plot. there are craploads of sidequests, extra characters, old characters to get back, new espers....

also, you've obviously never heard Dancing Mad, The Dreadful Battle, or any of the character themes from VI.

IV is my second favourite game in the franchise, but VI is the best in my opinion

Awe the four elements. Tbh the reason I loved these 4 so much is cos of one thing. No cliche these are some original elemental beast type bosses. None of them animals completely. They take some form of shape resembling humans and all look more like...I dunno just evil wizards than mindless slaves. I just like them.

No, Culex isn't from Final Fantasy IV, he has never been in any Final Fantasy as of yet. the only game he is in is Super Mario RPG.

Actualy since the SMRPG was made by square they decided to include a boss of their final fantasy design.. so they made culex.. hes not a final fantasy boss but he is inspired by the FF style.. so they decided to go with that boss theme as it was one of the most popular at the time.. so in a way he is from final fantasy but was never in an actual FF game
