The trauma of being bullied led to bad self-esteem and an eating disorder where she avoided eating and threw up her food, to lose more weight. She wants to focus on her singing since she says she's more confident about her voice than her body at the moment. Although she is doing better, and I think (hope) she will do more acting soon. Probably not Sonny, though.
