I don't know why I feel sympathetic for Jordan's character but I do. He treats Angela awfully @ times, but it's clear that he loves her maybe not to the fantastic standards of Brian, but he isn't used to anything else. Angela challenges him & makes him feel insecure. She makes him feel *something*, which I don't think he had experienced before. That's why I can kind of relate to him. He's just as scared as her. Love the line: Don't take your turns too wide or anything. I'm sure you won't.

God, this is probably one of my favorite scenes in the whole show. It was just so sad, and so cute at the same time. And then that kiss at the end... And when she says, "Sometimes someone says something really small that just fits right into this empty place in your heart." This scene was just perfect. And heartbreaking. <3

the thing is they have increidble chemistry but they cant kiss all the time. He is too immature to appreciate everything about her. he recongnizes that she is a great girl and he does like her, but he's not who she needs at least not then. so i gather by the way that he always gets slightly annoyed when she rambles on, that's just part of who she is. and how he is willing to let her go just because she isnt ready to have sex. at that point in time that's more important to him, unfortunately.

I think Jordan came to apologize for implying that she's abnormal for not wanting to have sex yet and not to break up with her. Angela assumes that he doesn't want to stay with her and asks if they should say something official to end it, and only then Jordan agrees to break up with her. He has little use for words and more use for music to express the deep ocean of feelings welling up inside him. I guess the old adage is true that art without angst is no art at all. Artists surely sacrifice for their art.

I think Angela understood him better after that visit to the museum where he accidentally found her letter she wrote to him. He understood her feelings for him and she understood him in a way she never thought she could before (she said just that). After this event of mutual understanding, I think their relationship went to another level as most do when intimate details are exchanged.
