Hi, thank you... The strings and complete setup on the CEB-5 at this time was stock, including the Renaissance head, stock bridge and the original nylon strings that came with the banjo. As it works out, nylon strings last only about a week with the amount of playing I do. My current setup differs with a Yellowstone head, a custom bone-capped Gold Tone bridge and flatwound steel strings. This setup produces more volume, more sustain and a drier tone, and the strings last a long, long time.
This is very nice. Most impressive is that you actually did it the way the song really goes. Anyway it sounds really nice on the bass banjo.

That's a very nice rendition. One question, are you using the stock set of strings or is that the medium set?
