Could you export this to BSP format or some other format that a BSP can accept? (I really don't know too much about the 3D modeling formats) It would be a lot of fun just to run around in this place with Garrysmod.
As far as I am aware there is no software to create 3D IFS fractals and convert to BSP format directly, however Xenodream allows export of 3D IFS fractals to various 3D modelling formats and I presume there'd be some compatible software to go from there to BSP.
(For instance you can definitely export from Xenodream so as to be able to import into Maya, 3D Studio, Lightwave, Bryce etc.)
I don't know any other way where such a complex 3D structure could be created in around two hours (creation time not render time) - I wouldn't even attempt to guess how many polygons would be required !
It is a demo of the algorithm I guess, but I like the Temple as an object in it's own right.

this is a great beautiful thing :) So much..meaning.

How you're exploring your fractals is spot-on. Great

Nice Fractals in my Channel too

I can't explain why, but I find this to be one of the most singularly eerie and lonely things I have ever seen.

@burningballoffire I agree...it is empty...cold...strange

@chinoto1 that would be one huge ass map (file size-wise), and it would have no lighting, spawn points, etc.

this is exactly how landscapes for games like these are made....

I think it is quite amazing that a simple algorithm could produce such a close likeness of an elaborate temple.

It looks like an Egyptian monument.

good job, realy impressive mate :)grats on the DD well deserved, havnt seen a 3d fractal quite like this before :)

Congratulations on the Daily Deviation! It's simply amazing, man.

i dont quite understand, why would you create a 3d structure this way? is this more so a demo of this algorithm?

@MakinMagicFractals You'd need many entities on the job to do that. Or a really super one.

@MakinMagicFractals yeah 2 hours. thats crazy. in 3dmax you need several month to create all the poly´s.
this is a really nice work mate. go on. thumb up!
