@Istory19 I actually had the veil lifted. I was atheist but the night I turned to "God" this overwhelming fear came over me. I sat up like in the cartoons and saw a big white light in the corner. This was more than a dream state. I woke up and I was sitting up. But as I awoke I saw a black veil lift from my eyes. This happens two more times. The second time my mom said I was screaming at her but when I woke up I didn't even know.

I hate to say this because Nas is my favorite, but if you look at the lyrics while listening to this song (and lots of other songs on this album for that matter) you'll find that Damien Marley's verses crush Nas's. Badly. Not that Nas's verses werent tight, but Jr. Gong has some PERFECT verses on this album. This one included.

And yeah this is one of the illest songs Nas has ever done.
