the movie is excellent. acting, and the scenes remind me of my own ethnic background with the parties, the dancing, the accordion. the subject of homosexuality is handled very well. it puts to shame movies like BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN and all the films on gay sex that american directors try to handle. there is no comparison.
One of the most beautiful movies I've seen... confronting big issues in the human condition... such beautiful scenery, and the character Marie, interpreteded by Zuzana Bydzovská, is my new hero, although so many of the characters have true beauty.
