I don't think its bad that Sublime is touring with Rome, but you can't really compare it with AC/DC because when Brian Johnson joined the band, they started writing new material and making new albums. Not to mention their sound made a dramatic change. I'm not saying that they have to change their sound dramatically but if Sublime wants to be taken seriously without Brad, they need to make some new albums.

2. rome can make his own music, and show some more passion that he did at the cypress smokeout... hes got the vocals but hes gotta get INTO the music.. i wanna hear his fuckin soul when he spits.. thats what made brad so amazing.

either way its good music.. and in brads own words.."good music is good music, and that should be enough for anybody"

hes right.imean they waited nearly 14 years for a RE GROUP with new singer when other bands like ACDC or ALICE IN CHAINS or QUEEN...i mean all GREAT AMAZING bands all from diff genres and time they all went on and made more music after the death of their lead singer,the heart and soul of those bands and some came out great and some didnt but this sublime thing actually has potential and i stand neutral cuz its bout the love of music and what brad stood for!!

we saw them Sublime at Smokeout and they were amazing. Honestly I had my doubts. But their music took all those doubts away. Thank you to all the members of Sublime for allowing their TRUE fans to experience their music at Smokeout because in the end that is what its about, the music.

They already have made their own bands and they are pretty good too. Del Mar is one of the bands, Rickshaw is another one of the bands. Jack Maness, Marshall Goodman(Ras MG) and Miguel played on some of their original albums. This is not Sublime, it is a tribute tour and Brad would want Bud and Eric to live the dream they shared.

That's what I have heard too, but they should work it out and not play as Sublime, I think a tribute tour would be just as cool? They don't have to use the name, but I think might consider allowing it if it were called The Bradley Nowell Tribute Tour. Maybe sort of like Blazed and Confused, but with Silverback bands on the ticket, like Rebelution, The Expendables, Slightly Stoopid, and Bud, Eric, and Rome. This would be a win win situation for all parties, I read the letter from the estate

@rasta1982 not true at all... the band wasnt called sublime Feat. Bud and Eric... Its true Brad was an important member of the group but he wasnt sublime. And, Brads dead.... he wasnt kicked out and replaced or anything he is gone and not coming back, like honestly listen to Rome do these songs I can honestly say he truely does them justice. and they did call it something else, now its sublime WITH ROME ;)
