  • I love to hear all of the wonderful versions of this song.

  • Love it Jackie !

  • thanks for sharing this beautiful ELVIS music with everyone!

  • Why cant I met a man like Elvis? A gentleman, talented and oh so beautiful... *sigh*

  • It wasn't the 50's that Elvis made his fame. Jailhouse Rock wasn't the song that took him to stardom. It was song like this one.

  • Beautiful song, love the arrangement with the piano, and of course Elvis singing, wonderful, happy birthday Elvis, hard to believe you would have been 77 today.

  • Recently watched a Jodie Foster film (The Brave One) a virtual rip off of "Death Wish", this was playing in the background, I didn;t know this was from " Clambake", I have seen that Elvis film but don;t remember him singing this? A great version though,!!

  • Used this as a song to an ex when we split up!! She was a cliff fan...ah well lol

  • great

  • I can't stand watching this video.. I might turn to be a gay.. only for Elvis though Ha ha ha..

  • Loved Eddie Arnold BUT adore ELVIS!!! ONE OF A KIND FOREVER!!!

  • fantastic song... and great pics from clambake ! good job !

  • Fantastic, one of my faves from THE KING...

  • CRANK IT UP, HEART AND SOUL

  • You Don't Know Me was originally recorded by EDDY ARNOLD in 1956

  • A very, very beautiful song and video! Reminds me of someone so special in my past years.

  • I have several versions of this song; this is my favorite! Still miss Elvis on the anniversary of his death 34 years ago. If this world is still standing 100 years from now, Elvis will still be remembered....

  • That is a fave...........blu.

  • gosh...still gives me goose bumps

  • Ohh.. I never heard this version by Elvis.. wow.. goosebumps... thanks sooo much!

  • I'm 39 and I've been listening to Elvis since I was born. It was practically instilled in me by my parents. This is a lovely song. If you really want a good cry, listen to 'Memories'. That song gets me every time. Even just thinking about it can get me going. It's very touching and sad.

  • Elvis sang this song with so much tenderness...It's so beautiful thank you for sharing....

  • oops , 96 people with no taste. feel so sorry for anyone who has not discovered the beauty of Elvis, they are missing out on so much.

  • @taylorpresley1

    Absolutely, EP was incredible =))

  • @Rndy09

    Yes!! lol

  • @Jolee189 No one does this song better than Elvis-Ray, Michael Buble or Bolton has the smoothness of the voice.

  • @Bbcfunguy He definately didn't do this better than Ray Charles.

  • @thatkid1011 ELVIS has 32 #1 HITS Worldwide and appro. 2 BILLION in record sales and many other AWARDS . Do you know any songwriters who have acheived this ?

  • The story of My life, desperatly in love but to her I'm just a friend...

  • Beautiful song no matter who sings it. Even I sing it. Please give it a listen. Thanks Jackie for this great tune. Love to all on you tube. Dan Dell

  • @thatkid1011

Yeah but Ray didn't write this song either.

  • @thatkid1011 jEOULOS??????????

  • @531531531 of what? Your spelling?

  • the handsomest man that ever lived

  • Even as a kid my heart went out to him when he sang this song about Shelly Faberes in the movie Clambake. I recently recorded a rendition of this song based a little more on the original Eddy Arnold of this song. Stop by and check it out sometime.

  • I'm not a big Elvis fan, but anyone who wastes their time to vote thumbs down on anything Elvis, is just a fool

  • A really nice song and I like this version but, Bbcfunguy you should zip it thank you.

  • @Bbcfunguy He is terrific.Thanks. But Anne Murray's version is THE BEST! gO LISTEN, PLEASE.

  • great version of this song by the main man elvis xx

  • The one and only Mr Elvis Presley, the greatest singer /entertainer that ever walked the earth, no one will ever replace him, he was a one off, unique, God Bless you Elvis wherever you are. Miss and Love you so very much.

  • AMAZING SONG BY ELVIS PRESLEY!!!

  • Elvis is King

  • Some are born to sing..Elvis was one....my my..what a rendition...

  • Hey Jackie, how did you make these videos? What program did you use?

  • @elvispresley11 I use Windows Movie Maker. :)

  • Sweet words. But then ... Elvis fans do tend to be sweet. Thank you.

  • @LuvThoseLadies :) I grew up 15 minutes south of Graceland. It's basically been a home away from home for me. Now that I'm not in Memphis anymore, it really makes me sad that I can't visit whenever I want. I still make it back every January for his birthday and every August for Elvis Week.

  • @MiddleGeorgiaMemphis Were you living in Memphis at the time it happened? If so, what was the atmosphere like, and how were the people reacting? It seemed almost like a President had died in office. One of the fondest memories of Elvis had to be his kindness. There was a middle-aged black lady looking into a showroom at a Cadillac, and to make a long story short, he BOUGHT it for her! This was at a time it could have really destroyed his career. He didn't care about that. He was just that kind.

  • @LuvThoseLadies I wasn't born until 1985.

  • the photos... fm :48 thru 1:04 especially.... you really know how to relate the photos to the song.... nice work, Jackie.

  • One of the nicest songs' lyrically and musically of all times.

  • rest in peace baby

  • @LuvThoseLadies I was 12 years old and had just came in from playing a baseball game when my mom told me....I was disappointed at first but I immediately focused on my mother because I knew she was a big fan of Elvis......I could see the sadness on her face......I talked about how much I loved the King's music hoping the praise would ease her discomfort....it was a tough day, week , month for those who loved his music

  • @ghostzcar24 Ray didnt write this song dude

  • @jmallton lol At first I thought he did, but was quickly stood corrected that it was Eddy Arnold! It is a toss-up between Elvis and Ray Charles as to which one is better. Both were great - I have to give it a tie! Is that okay with you all? I hope so!

  • There will never be another Elvis.

  • I can't believe that somebody has said "I'm not a great Elvis fan" in this comment list. Lucky them. It hurts loving Elvis.

  • This is one of my favorite songs and this is a wonderful version of it by the King. My favorite version is by Mickey Gilley (even though I'm a big fan of Elvis),

  • THANKS- ONLY THANKSSSSSSSSSSSS.

  • nobody does it better.... elvis is the king!!!~

  • There are legends and then there is Elvis! I am a fan of a lot of the 'Legends' in the world of music but to me Elvis is just in a class of his own. His spirit is as strong to day as it was all those years ago because so many people were captivated by his gift and it will go on through generations.

  • @jackthehatuk

    All the legends envy Elvis.

  • Elvis gravou esta música para um filme, mas não gostou do resultado nas telas, e pediu pra regravar com outro arranjo...mais lenta...ficou bem melhor.

  • tema excelente de 1967. tema 10.

  • YES!! the version i was looking/listening for! Elvis is so great that the all words we have to describe greatness are not even close to a good definition! I love this guy (i am married) ;)

There is 'love', and there is... 'love of Elvis'

    Legend never to be forgotten!

  • Must have missed this when you posted it Jackie - and it's one of my most favorite. As usual, your pictures are without a doubt some of the very best anyone has. We all appreciate what you do - and must never let ELVIS be forgotten - not much chance of that happening anytime soon.

  • The best rendition. Loveit!

Thank you for sharing. Excellent as always.

  • love this song!! he sings it the best! 5*****

  • Excellent, my friend.

    10 stars.

  • This is such an extremely marvelous song and Elvis definitely has the very best renditions of it. This song was from the Elvis movie "Clambake". That was the 3rd and final movie that Elvis did with Shelley Fabares. I really like all three of the Elvis motion pictures that Shelley Fabares starred in. She and Elvis had absolutely electrifying on screen chemistry. I loved this video immensely, 10 Stars as always Jackie.

  • It is available on From Nashville to Memphis: The Essential 60s Masters, The 50 Greatest Love Songs, and the FTD Clambake soundtrack.

  • Written by Eddy Arnold and Cindy Walker. Elvis recorded the film version, which was backed by a string section on February 22, 1967 at RCAs Nashville Studios. The song was featured in the 1967 film, Clambake. The single release was recorded at the same studio on September 11, 1967. It reached #44 on the Hot 100 chart, staying for six weeks. It reached #34 on the Easy-Listening chart. It was the Bside to Big Boss Man.
