He peaked after leaving North Carolina and his game NEVER got better once he left the Raptors, and it definitely got worse when he got to Orlando. But still, better career numbers than most.

the ironic thing about this is hearing Jordan's voice and what he is saying and seeing the images of Vince...Vince did make excuses, gave up when things got rough, didn't have a good work ethic, all the things that Jordan probably despises...the original commercial tried to send the message that greatness didn't come easy for him, he worked at it...thats why Vince never became great, he wasn't willing to work....this is a guy who publicly stated he didn't want to me "the man" on a team

Vincw still holds a career average of 23.8 points per game which is great in my opinion could he have been the best? Of course he is the greatest dunker of our time and he played well in the playoffs as well... But like you said he seemed to not want to be the best in later years often getting away with not working hard with natural talent and to me that's why he never truly took his game to another level the way he could have.

Greatest dunker ever, but dunking does not make a great basketball player.
