Anne Boleyn gave Henry a choice, she said he could have her if Catherine was not with him, but not if Catherine was with him. Anne Boleyn did NOTHING to Catherine,.

Jane gave Henry the one thing he wanted, and lost her life in the process. I'd say that her death was a shock to Henry, and probably cemented her place in his affections, though she may not have had that place if she lived.
This is a tv show. If you look at anything at all historic about henry the eighth you know that he'd have killed her himself if he had to to get a son. In fact when she died one of her family members was to have said "thank god she died before she did anything to displease him" Jane was lucky in that she died during the honeymoon period od the relationship

Henry wanted to be buried next to the mother of his son. I wonder if he would have felt the same way if he knew that that son wouldn't survive to see his sixteenth birthday, let alone provide Henry with grandsons to continue the Tudor line.
Long term, I would say that Anne won, through Elizabeth.

he still loved her without the son...he loved her for her light.and if you see it well,before she was pregnant he treated her dearly and with respect.

So you believe that, if Jane was incapable of having children, Henry would have decided that he didn't need a son, after all? He'd just stay married to Jane for the rest of his life and never regret that he didn't choose somebody else to marry?
I can't see that happening.
I don't doubt that Henry believed that he loved Jane. He revered the mother of his son. I think that Henry loved himself too much to ever truly love anybody else.

i respect your opinion.But i continue to say Yes..we all come here to experience Love,wether we are kings or poor or slaves..it is not because he seemed to be egoical,that he coulnt love someone,beyonh himself.i think that her death showed this to all that can See..it is when you lose,that sometimes you FEEL that afterall...it was our only Love.and Henry felt that.he had another children,he could love another Queen..but he didnt.Jane was painted as the matriarcal Tudor in his later life.

Of course Jane was the matriarchal Tudor in Henry's eyes - she gave him a son and he had no way of knowing that their son was going to kick the bucket at such an early age. He was probably sure that Edward would marry and have children and keep the dynasty going.
Jane gave Henry the one thing he wanted, and lost her life in the process. I'd say that her death was a shock to Henry, and probably cemented her place in his affections, though she may not have had that place if she lived.

This is a tv show. If you look at anything at all historic about henry the eighth you know that he'd have killed her himself if he had to to get a son. In fact when she died one of her family members was to have said "thank god she died before she did anything to displease him" Jane was lucky in that she died during the honeymoon period od the relationship

@ReganIX Yet Elizabeth didn't have any children either and let the dynasty die. i agree Anne was probably best matched with Henry, tho that didn't stop him for pushing her aside for a son. Katherein's prophecy to Anne was true. Oddly enough Mary gave the same prophecy to Kitty later and she was executed too but you'd think she'd learn after seeing her cousin executed falsely for the crime Kitty goes on to commit!

TEAM ANNE when it comes to jane. but team aragon in general bc i wouldn't like to be cheated on and she was the 1st to be cheated on. girl code says the cheater becomes the cheated hence henry cheats on anne. even though i admit i abosultely adore henry and anne together.

I always liked that (probably apocryphal) story about Christina of Denmark, where she told Henry's messengers that "If I had two heads, one should be at the King of England's disposal." XD Sadly, most of the women Henry went after didn't have the power to refuse him that way. They were his subjects and he could have made their lives miserable. And poor, sheltered Anne of Cleves just didn't have any idea WHAT she was getting into.

Anne was the hardest queen..Her temperament was better than Jane's.....But neither had a good life: Anne always suffered when she was queen, and Jane simply died....

the thing is Anne was very upfront about what she was doing, she was like yh I want him but I dont care. However Jane according to historians seemed very sweet and innocent and some people dont like that because they were basically after the same thing. If that makes sense? I personally like them both.

I would say that she was power hungry, but that's not what killed her. What killed her was Henry's obsessive desire for a son. Once he decided that she had failed him in that way, she was thrown aside.
