I left shortly before i13 arrived, and haven't been back to check out the changes due to negative reviews. These days I occasionally think about returning to CoX, if for no other reason than to keep my chars that I've worked on for so long active and in the database. But whenever I think about the tedious pve game and the joke they call pvp, I just get turned off. I've basically concluded from my experience that skill based pvp is only possible in twitch games. Perhaps CO will have better luck.

Before quitting CoX for good, I had been on a 2 months hiatus. Before that, all my pvp chars did pretty well. I even had a bit of fame on my server for being a great pvper. After I came back, things completely changed. The people who horded good IOs got way ahead of the curve. There was simply no way to compete with these people, and I got beat left and right by people I never even heard of, new guys, simply because they ran with a group of friends and did a lot of TF/SFs.

I used to love CoX, but I quit close to a year ago because the game simply refused to deliver on PvP. When pvp was first introduced, there was somewhat of an element of skill involved, and then as time went on and people figured out all the fotm builds, it became more about what kind of char you had. IOs finally put the last nail in the coffin. The best pvpers came down to whoever could afford the time/money to get the best IO sets and rig their builds for max acc/rchg/heal/mez protection.

it was a cold morning when i woke up to see that i13 has gone live, i punched in my login name and password and as i grabbed my pvp toon and entered the pvp zone i noticed... a cold cold wind..... all i could hear was...supression.... as i went to assassinate a hero......i quickly tried to get away but it was no use....supression he quickly dealed swift and powerful blows with...flurry as i lay their dead on the morning of i13.... :'( R.I.P PvP

Its a bind you can do. I have mine setup as the following:

Slap: /bind 1 e slap

Smack: /bind 2 e smack

So tapping 1 and 2 gives the animation of smacking the **** outta someone :)

If they cared about you, they wouldn't have changed the zones. A good analogy is smokers. They stink everything up and pollute everything everywhere they go, so they make a non smoking section. When that fails, they tell smokers they can smoke, just not in public. You're like smokers, everywhere you go you bring your crappy little memes and idiotic behavior and pollute the game, so they put you in the arena, where no one has to listen to you but each other. Not like it matters, you're quiting.

wow dominator that goes wild with 4 secs hold, try a grav controller that needs containment to work. Highest damage I did on a blaster with propel was 146 dam with -res from freezing rain and tornado. GO CASTLE for fucking up the game even more.
