Thanks Turslinger, I am always in search of more undiscovered "treasure" from the long lost velvet voice of Jimmy and the soulful guitar of Trower. I sorely miss the combination.
Does anybody know the lyrics to this song? I'd really like to have them. Especially the second stanza. Is it, "Feel those cold eyes that smile" or "Feel so cold I can smile"?
OH MY GOD! I have tears in my eyes listening to this song. Trower is the only artist who can bring these emotions out of me. And his songs get better and better and more and more relevant as I grow older.
@H0yl1an Amen.My Mother used to play this music for me as a child. Shes gone now, but every time I hear this music, I can feel her touching my shoulder.
I understand you. It happened the same to me when I heard Old & Wise by The Alan Parsons Project. And this song of TRower is really deep. (let me be the first, let me be the last... Beautiful indeed!)
this rare song is from the outtakes of the album : long misty days and it,s a shame it never made it to the album for dewar is gifted with a great voice and trower bends the strings like never before, enjoy
@horjusje29 I have seen Trower and Dewar 2 times . Never ever heard this song before ?? It is a great song a tremdouse song. Robin should release today!!!! The lyrics are just unbelievable!!!
Turdslinger, Trower and Dewar still gives me inspiration but these gems are the icing on the cake, MORE inspiration!! Thanks a million, another one to cover now!!And how he wails on this one!!
Love it Love it Love it! I think he is the one!!

@EMicheal Your mother sounds like a wonderful soul. I always feel people I've lost when I hear something this beautiful. I'm there with you, man.
