It's a religion of war, hatred. All you have to do is read the quran, the hadiths and you'll learn about Muhammed's unholy life. All of the prophets from Adam to Moses to Jesus to Mohamed pbut all had beards, we try to be as much like the prophets as possible, we don't look up to superstars that indulge in this world and seek to look good for the sake of committing adultery, instead of trying to be like pop stars we try to be as close to the prophets as possible

Well we Westerners shave because it started with the Romans. The Romans shaved so they will not be like the Celtics or the northern barbarians, they see them self to be cleaner...
Also the fact that they shave and cut their hair short so it will not get pulled in battle or in a fight... If you take a look, long hair and beards came back into style for a wile when fighting had much less grappling and more shooting and stabbing with Rapiers...

I am a westerner too dude I am Canadian of Spanish descent, the rapier is actually a Spanish sword used by rich folks to show off how rich they are, anyways normally we grow our mustache but I never liked my mustache, now that I am Muslim I grow my beard in a clean gotea style so it still looks good and clean and I trim the mustache to keep it clean, cleanliness is more important then anything,

Just one question, is it bad if Muslim shaves? I have two good friends that are Muslim, and they shave. But one is in the U.S. army. The other just shaves. Is that bad if they do???

One is in the US army, I don't really think he cares much about his deen to begin with fighting in the Dajjal Antichrist army fighting to set up a New World order, the hypocrite needs to study Islam, but yea your not gona go to hell if you shave its like out of respect for the prophets like I said its to imitate them, this is what I was told anyways maybe someone with more knowledge can clarify any mistakes I may have made

to grow a beard in islam is not compulsory because it is not said in the quran n if u look the greatest men prophets n scientist n politicians nn such as had beards so it use to symbolise a lot more then we perceive it nowadays
